@kewpie80 - Totally implantation. I'm relieved it stopped. I spotted, mostly just bits of brown until the second beta. Very nerve racking as we all know. Will you test? Tomorrow will be 7dp5dt right? You could totally test. I think you'd get an accurate reading on a FRER at 12 dpo equivalent. But, obviously, do what's right for you.

@adiejan - That sounds amazing! I think that's a really good start and it's so nice that so many are so close to each other in size. KUP!!!!

@tracyamber - @monkeyscience is right, it really could be just one. Lots of super healthy singletons start out with high betas. You just won't know until the ultrasound. And just keep calm. As I learned, the higher the beta, the funnier it can act.

to all. Sorry if I missed anyone. It's harder to keep up on my phone.

Hi everyone!
Tracy - just remember to breath, relax and be gentle... This is really happening for you and I'm so happy for you!
Xerxella - how far are you now? When is your next scan?
Tina - I did wonder if they'd offer that keep a batch or two of donor sperm option as monkeyscience says - that would be great!
Adie - wow! That's a lot of follies! Fx for you!
Kewpie - fx here too for implantation... Keep us posted! What a sweet dh you have!
Afm - have had heavy spotting so assuming it was AF went and did a follow up with re, he thinks it's breakthrough not AF, and to just wait and see when AF arrives. Plan is to let my ovaries rest till then (and possibly next month) as they are still swollen and full of ghost follies at present. Protocol will be back to standard antagonist that we did first time, with a gently approach on the stims. He says I'm obviously just really sensitive to them. It seems strange, some can do 30 or so eggs ok, for me 16 was too many - or maybe they just cooked too long. Anyway my estroidal is now down to 147 from 18,000 and I'm feeling normal - yay for that!

@chuord
I'm am glad you are being gentle with yourself and being patient that things may be a bit longer than anticipated. Better for you to be optimal right? I'm glad you are back to yourself too!!!
Thanks for the words of encouragement. You rock!!
@Xerxella , yeah I know I just want a healthy baby and really not thinking about if there are two or not. Thanks for always being supportive and knowledgable. I hope you are feeling well. No morning sickness???

Everyone else, hello and thank you for stopping by or posting a congrats for me on Friday. It was a wonderful day.
What a beautiful day it is today. For the 3 rd day straight we have been driving rather than walking to another special place on the coast about 10 minutes away from our coast. I have found lots of agates and soaking in lots of vitamin D.
Oh which reminds me, I don't know if any of you remember my blood pressure being really high. It was still pretty high last week too and I suspected it may be the lupron. Well , now I feel it was the lupron as I got check today and it was back to normal.... 102/75. Anyway, that's it.

Ok, so after DH's urging so I'd stop fretting, I took an internet cheapie test tonight. I think I got a faint positive. I'll test tomorrow again with the FRER, but for now, what do you think?

Edit: spotting has slowed down to near nothing again, just like last night.

Kewpie, that is a DEFINITE line, congrats!!!!

Congrats to you, too, tracyamber!

And...good things come in threes..Congrats to...

ME! I got a BFP today too!

I took a wofondo in the morning SMU and got a super squinter. I waited four hours and didn't pee and got a definite line on a FRER.

I am due one day after my birthday on 2/15. I am hoping to see some of you in the February DDC!

So for the record, clomid 50 mg worked just as well at 35, days 5-9, nursing a toddler as it did at 32 days 3-7. I had already made an appointment with the fertility clinic next week, haha.

I am a little nervous since A. I don't want to go back to the crappy OB who didn't call me back for a week to give me the clomid and B. I had progesterone supplementation with my son. I can't remember if it was "just in case" or if my levels were low. I'm guess they were low, I was at a fertility clinic. Any thoughts on progesterone supplementation? In subsequent pregnancies?

I debated posting this since I haven't been much a part of this thread, and I know it can be frustrating to see lots of BFPs happening and not get one. But ultimately I just want to say that even though I don't know most of you well, and even though I'm sure it's small comfort, I seriously hold a place in my heart for everyone struggling with fertility at any given moment.

Kewpie - looks line a line to me - can't wait till your frer in the morning. You're on orogesterone supps too right? Maybe that's the spotting?
Boots - congrats!! I've never had a successful pg so no experience... However if you think progesterone is an issue at least get your family doctor to do bloods and check it - I've been told sooner is better for long term viability.

Congrats @kewpie80 and @iixivboots !!!!!!!!

Boots - clomid is know to produce a strong ovulation and good progesterone levels. I'd just get tested at a new doc. (Go in, tell your story and ask them to check your progesterone level. That's no big deal).

YAY for more good news. I like that it came in threes.

Kewpie - Woohoo! Both of those lines are very definitely there. Do you think if it's twins, it will be easier because you're already familiar with twins, or crazier, because, well, you have twins already?! I'm sorry the bleeding keeps coming up and messing with your head. I hope it goes away for good soon.

Boots - I totally remember you, and congrats! In fact, I didn't know you'd changed your username, and every time the new one came up, I'd think of you and then remind myself, no, that's someone else. I'm glad the Clomid worked well and quickly for you. As far as progesterone, I'd actually suggest the opposite of your guess - you were probably on progesterone simply because you were seeing an RE, not because you were deficient. In my experience (and also according to an OB, whom I asked about it), REs nearly always prescribe progesterone to their patients, regardless of deficiency. Just as a sort of CYA maneuver. I'm sure you can get it tested, though, just to be sure. FWIW, when we were TTC our first and I couldn't get my RE to order a post-O progesterone test, I went to AnyLabTestNow and just paid $40 out of pocket to have it checked. It was fine, which is why I never bothered doing the progesterone supplements my RE prescribed. It looks like it's gotten slightly more expensive, but it's an easy and fast way to check if you don't want to mess with finding a doctor to order the test yet.

Fingers crossed for more good things to come!

Thanks for the congrats, everyone! Hoping to keep following this thread and seeing more good news!

@Xerxella That is really reassuring, thank you! I didn't know that Clomid usually meant higher progesterone.

@monkeyscience Yup, same old Boots from the Bajingo thread and the 8/12 DDC! Congrats on your second pregnancy a bit late, too It's a pretty funny story about my username. My parents called me freaked out, they tried to search "boots valent*ne" and they got some seriously racy stuff and a picture of L from my mothering profile. So they thought L's picture was on a porn site. So I paid mothering to change it...2/14 boots, my bday, in Roman numerals. Haha. Parents.
I am SO grateful for the info about REs and progesterone. I didn't know that and honestly I don't remember if they tested it and don't really have access to that information. I will definitely bring it up with the new doc but so glad to know it's probably standard and not an emergency.

My wofondo wasn't much darker today, still a serious shadow line. I'm going to pee on the 2nd of the FRER two pack tomorrow.

I'm considering seeing if I can just start off this pregnancy with a perinatalogist. I am going to be 36 when I deliver, plus I have Hashimotos and although I didn't have it last time, a high risk for GD because of weight and two diabetic parents. We'll see what the insurance says I guess.

I've been spotting for 4 days and cramping, so definitely no relaxing, though I did talk to the nurse this morning and she reassured me.

So, as long as she’s right, it’s good news. She had me describe the blood. I told her it’s mauve when it reaches the TP, but red on the suppository applicator. She said that happens all.the.time and it’s cause by the applicator scraping the vaginal wall and irritating it. Since I do this 3 times a day for weeks, it makes sense. She told me to cut my nails short and use my finger for a few days and see if it goes away.

The cramping, she said to drink more water and that’s it’s just my uterus getting started growing. I just downed a 16 oz bottle of water and plan to repeat every couple hours. I was thinking of sipping it slowly, but I’ll set it down and forget to come back to it.

So, that’s good news as long as she’s right. I really can’t wait til my beta on wednesday. According to the charts, today should have been the earliest I could get a + and I got one saturday night. I’m hoping that means the my number is nice and high.

I'm really suspecting it's twins because of how early I got my +. Supposedly TODAY is the earliest I should get a + and the first test I took sat night was a 13 cent cheap test.

Some things would be easier with a second set. I know how to carry two and I know what works and what doesn't. I have 2 of everything in both genders already. My daughter loves babies and helps take care of her baby cousin and is so sweet with her, so I'm hoping she'll be a big help whether it's 1 or 2. Going out of the house is what would scare me the most. With 1, I can baby wear and still have 2 hands for the older 2, but I always have trouble babywearing 2. I've done it, but it feels SO awkward. I rarely did it.

The beta will tell me more. I've kept all my past numbers from my twins (990 first beta) and from my singleton I lost (425). So I'm hoping this will give me some idea. I know it's not exact science, but maybe a clue?

I'm just hoping the nurse is right about the bleeding and cramping because I don't know if I can handle losing another one.

@kewpie80 - It all sounds positive! 900ish is such a high first beta! Was that at 14dpo equivalent? I think 100 is a good 14dpo beta.

@tracyamber - second beta today, right? Good luck!!!!!!

@iixivboots - will you bedrooms any early tests? When will you do a first ultrasound?

@adiejan - when's your next appointment?

AFM - Everything's been going fine. I've been posting in the graduates thread if you want to check, but I fully understand how MANY people don't want those kind of details. And, I TOTALLY don't blame them. So, I won't be posting any of my details here, but I'll always be here cheering you guys on.

I hope you all don't mind if I linger a while longer here. I'm feeling a bit emotional......

@tracyamber - WOOHOOO!!!!!!! That's an awesome doubling time! I don't know what it is, but it seems high! LOL You should post in the graduates thread. When exactly is your u/s? That will facilitate my proper stalking....

Married to one of the last good guys left Jim
Mom to AJ 4/07 and Genevieve 5/09

And then: I'm really, really tired of making angels.
