Thanks for doing this too. It is a lot of work! I could send you cookies once in a awhile
Or I could send cookies to any of you that feel like you just need a couple of freakin chocolate chip cookies. This is an exhausting journey.

Thank you, Xerxella and Mo!  I have a hard enough time keeping up on the thread, much less maintaining it.  You rock!

I do love lurking on this thread, even if I don't post too much.  It's such a fast moving thread! :duck

I am currently working on IVF.  Waiting for AF after the end of my first test cycle (no implanting or harvesting - just checking levels on Clomid). I am irregular and AF is late even now.  Sigh.  But once she comes, then I'm off to the races with injections and pills and hopefully lots of embryos!

Wishing you all the best!

have a great time in Disneyland, Xerxella!  And best wishes with the donor eggs, TracyAmber!

Have a great time in Disney xerxella, some excitement and fun could be just what you need :-) this is a tough journey.

Mo- thank you for editing the thread, big job! If it gets too much to record where everyone is during the month, we could all just record what treatment we are doing (IVF, IUI, donor etc)? I admire your tenacity though! Hope you are feeling good again soon and able to attack a new cycle.

Please can you or me down as waiting to o on clomid (round 3).

So today I had my trackubg appointment to peek at the little follicles. It was all good :-)
I have two big ones on the left (17&18mm) and three littlies on the right (10,11,12). I think from what I've read the two big ones should go but not the little ones, is that right? I am due to O in two days time. My lining was 8.6, does anyone know what the range is? The nurse thought that was ok, but I don't know if that's thick or thin.

I'm happy to be in with a chance this month :-)

How are you doing?

Thanks, @NaturallyMo!   I'm in the IVF group, and I guess in waiting to know - which seems a little weird to me, because I *know* there's no embryos in me right now, they're in the lab!   But, I'm 4DPO (effectively) and totally waiting to know if it'll stick, so that's still right.

@Xerxella have fun at Disney!  It sounds like a great thing to do.

@oxford I think 8.6 is probably good for where you are in your cycle?  Good luck!!

@tracyamber - mmm chocolate chip cookies...

Xerxella- have a fab time!!! Relax and refresh xx
Mo - thanks heaps Mo, it's really appreciated, I'm in the ivf - waiting to o, (I'm guessing too many details is silly? I've never been on a thread that does this status list )
Tinytina - I always think of heavy AF as a spring clean and everything getting ready for something exciting smile.gif
Oxford - re the lining, mine was at 7.5 for the last iui - he said that was a bit thin, but his cut off was 7.2 so we went ahead... I'm thinking 8.6 is looking nice smile.gif feel confident that it's ready to go... Two nice follies is looking good xx
Tifga - fx for you!! The exciting (cos the meds are over) yet stressful tww is now on... How do you distract during this time?
Tracey - thanks for the cookies! Can I ask how you go about selecting a donor egg? I mean do you look at friends or do they have a 'list' with attributes at the docs?
Sorry about those I miss smile.gif it's too hard on my phone with this fast thread.
Feeling nervous as I get closer to egg retrieval, hoping there are at least half that are good... Feels weird knowing 12 are growing almost equally. Emotions aren't too bad, the waves of nausea are a bit annoying though... Nurse reckons I'm having a slight reaction to gonal rather than side effects - so am just riding it out, telling myself this is more important.

me 39, DH 39, one no babies yet due to previous poor health. Trying to make up for it now (TTC since November 2012) At least one confirmed chem.Ivf #1 march 2014 - 6 day 6 blasts, two transferred bfn, 4 frosties in waiting. Ivf #2 may, cancelled, Ivf #3 July... BFP! 15dpo 336 hcg, 17dpo 681 hcg... Looking good so far

No meds for me thankfully, I have never handled hormones well. When I went on bcp after we got married I was insane for like 2 months before I adjusted.

Sewing shall be my salvation this month. And comic con is next weekend. And Purim is the weekend after that so we need costumes.

Sorry about the reaction to the gonal, I'm like you though, whatever it takes is so worth it.

Great that you don't need the meds btw - I ovulate on my own too - but given my age I don't have time to wait any more... (40 in June)

@chuord yes, the clinic we are going to has a data base of donor eggs so we will be selecting from there. I want to do a fresh cycle with egg and dh sperm. I think I answered your question.
Did you want cookies? I would send them to Australia but I don't know how long it would take. Would they get stale?
I can't believe know one else wants cookies . Maybe I'm weird. I'm a baker and just made a huge batch of dough with oats, coconut, walnuts and chocolate chips.
@adiejan I am thinking a out you again today and I'd love to send you some sweets if I can.

Adie - hugs and love and healing to you both... This does suck, but I know you'll get there, hold the hope... And know that your cheerful attitude (I know you're not there now) has been an inspiration to me for the longest time.
Tracey - lol I thought you were sending 'Internet' or pretend cookies lol wink1.gif umm I don't know if they would be stale... It can take up to 4 weeks depending on the post... I once sent a croissant to a friend in Aus from Paris - it was very moldy by the time it arrived. Thanks for the offer smile.gif
Re the eggs - that's so cool, whenyousay do a fresh cycle, will the eggs be fresh or frozen? Im learning so much on here! I'm sort of hoping to convince dh to donate sperm after we get where we need to (he's not keen yet) - he is excellent on all the sperm quality tests, apparently Asian guys donate less and are in demand... He's not bad looking (I'm biased I know), and apparently intelligent, the more I think about it lol he almost owes it to society to donate his genetics :P hope that gives someone a laugh...
Afm still a bit tender, as long as I'm not madly dashing around I feel normal, lol except when my buttons are pushed a little hormonal nutso pops out to say $&@$ hehe.

Adie I am so so sorry. Every milestone for your little one was a miracle, now cut short. I have been through this grief and I don't think one can ever fully recover or go back to how things were. The memory of this little life will be carried through your life now. I hope, if you feel led, you'll find a way honor the memory. Please stay in touch if you are ble and tell us how you're doing. I love my kiddos - HCG has an average half life of 33 hours. It's easier to think of it as between 24-36 hours. So, on 2/16, you will have 625 - 1250 in your system. On 2/19, you will have 78- 312 in your system. On 2/22, you'll have 10-78 in your system. On 2/25, you'll have at most 20 in your system. Since, most tests only test down to 20, you'll probably safe to test. Good luck!!!!

tifga - Are you on progesterone supplements? If your luteal phase is short, it's certainly something you can (should) try. If you're getting your period on progesterone supplements, they need to increase the dose or try a different med.

chuord - You should be getting close! When's your next appointment? When are they talking retrieval? 12 is a fantastic number. They usually found a couple more at my retrievals.

tracy - I, too, thought you meant virtual chocolate chip cookies! LOL Are you a baker? (I'm always impressed with bakers. I don't even own flour or sugar in the house!)

adiejan - Thinking of you today. With my last D&C, I just lay on the table an cried. I was bawling and there was nothing they could do, so they just put me under. I think I started to make the nurses cry too after learning my story. hug.gif

autumnlaughing - Did you have your transfer yet? How many? What grade? Any frosties? (Sorry if I missed it.)

Mo - How's the Clomid treating you this time around?

Oxford - Did you O? I think those 2 big ones are definitely in the running, the 3 little ones, maybe not, but you never know. My doc says as small as a 12 has a chance.

lrex - Have you found AF yet? (Or has she found you?) What's your IVF plan? I'm always interested in the details. smile.gif

mindless chrissy - I don't know if I said hi yet, so HI!!!!! What's your plan going ahead?

wave.gif to everyone I missed.

AFM - Period hit today. Yeah me. I don't know if it matters or not, but I won't be doing IVF this cycle. We're just trying on our own this month and will start IVF in April. We leave for Disney World with the kids tomorrow. I don't know who's more excited, them or me!!!!!
adiejan likes this.

And then: I'm really, really tired of making angels.
