Hi everyone,

We both decided we weren't up to the dresser/clothing yesterday so instead we just hung out- very low-key and it was so nice.

I will update late tomorrow about our appointment.

Lots of excitement here! I really hope not everyone leaves before I get pregnant

Thanks @Xerxella , I will try to do well as threadkeeper. I do the TTC thread. Thanks for suggesting I am crafty. I would like to have more time for crafty projects- jewelry making and scrapbooking in particular.

Sorry you are bleeding so much @kewpie80 . Hope the BETA number starts going up. Hugs hun. Try not to stress

Hi @hope4light and @Tear78

Thanks @chuord , hope you are doing okay

Great numbers @adiejan -your follies sound great, good luck on your upcoming trigger

Hi @iixivboots - glad your numbers were so good!

Hi @tracyamber - hope you are doing well

Hi everyone else!

Let me know of any status changes!

Xerxella 06-11-2014 06:16 AM

@tinytina - I guess you can move me out of waiting to know and to the May BFPs. I guess there's no denying it anymore. Thanks for taking the new thread! It has been lucky in the past! :)

@adiejan - Good luck with trigger!!!

tracyamber 06-11-2014 06:47 AM

@tinytina
Thanks for being thread keeper. On the last thread I copied/pasted a sorta update because it was very un-updated. It is the third to the last page. You could glance at that.
Also, move me to

Bfp for June..... I cannot bold for some reason!

tinytina 06-11-2014 07:07 AM

I updated the list @tracyamber and @Xerxella .
Thanks for your help tracyamber. I appreciate it.

monkeyscience 06-11-2014 07:41 AM

Subbing so I can cheer you all on. :) Hoping for an excellent retrieval and lots of blasts for you, Adie! Sounds like it's looking good so far.

Thanks for taking the thread, Tina. Hope you can make a good plan with your doc tomorrow!

adiejan 06-11-2014 07:45 AM

@tinytina - thanks for starting this thread love!! I wish I could do some crafts/projects with you. I hope your appt. goes well. Fx for you!

Can you move me to IVF waiting to O...thanks!

tracyamber 06-11-2014 07:59 AM

@tinytina , it's looking good and I like your reduction on graphics:thumb

alivewithyou 06-11-2014 01:19 PM

Hi ladies I have been following along and wishing you well. Haven't felt like I have too much to contribute since a lot of this is so new to me.

Had my 7dpo progesterone draw today and it came back at 13.1. I feel like it is an okay number but not sure?

monkeyscience 06-11-2014 02:30 PM

My understanding is that anything above 10 is considered normal, alivewithyou.

chuord 06-11-2014 02:31 PM

Thanks for being the thread master Tina :) keep us posted on if you get to try this next month.
Xerxella - congrats!!! I know I've said it before, but actually accepting it's happening is a huge step after all this fertility stuff - I'm so happy for you 😄
Tracy - sorry I forget, when's your scan? Any symptoms?
Adie - I need to focus on more craft stuff too. I have heaps of half done sewing projects... And a half sanded wine cabinet...
Hope - how are you traveling with it?
Alive - don't stress, we all go through phases where we need space.
Afm - question for those with knowledge... Since the doc thinks last week was just break through not AF I took my temp today at possible cd8 it was under my cover line - after last stim cycle I had higher temps for a while (halfway into next cycle) since I wasn't triggered would they have stayed low? I'm trying to work out where I'm at... My last bloods (on possible cd 2) were progesterone 0.7, estroidal 146 - but I was on suppressants for 10 days after not trigger. I hope someone has an idea as I really want to know if I should be getting ready to 'try' naturally this month.
Tina my status would be waiting to know where I'm at - or equivalent. Sorry no bold either

iixivboots 06-11-2014 04:33 PM

A little out of it today, so more later but...
My second beta came back as 281, up from 103. Doing one more Friday. :)
They didn't test my progesterone again, I guess 21 is a good number so they didn't feel like they needed to.
Still not sure if I'm staying with the clinic for early monitoring or going to OB at 8 weeks. Depends on what insurance covers.

@kewpie80 , when do you get your beta results?

@Xerxella , how far along are you now?

The February 2015 DDC is open as of yesterday :)

I got it yesterday. It was 98.8. I don't do another one for a full week.

Tear78 06-11-2014 07:26 PM

Subbing also to cheer you all on! I know many of you probably don't even know my connection to this thread, but I'm a graduate and I keep staying to cheer on the lovely ladies I met along the way, then I get invested in cheering on everybody else too. I hope you don't mind me lurking.
@Kewpie , they're not going to test for doubling? It could set your mind at ease, though with Freddy my midwife refused to do it cause it leads to over analyzing....I guess she knew me well. :-p. cheering for you big time!

iixivboots 06-11-2014 08:00 PM

I am amazed they aren't doing a repeat beta for a whole week! I guess I've heard 72 instead of 48 hours, but that's a long time. That's a rough wait :(

Hi Tear! :)

Tear78 06-11-2014 08:06 PM

Hi boots! I'm so happy to see your second numbers! :)

toothfairy2be 06-11-2014 08:23 PM

Subbing. Not much going on here.

Well I'm glad you stopped by. I've been thinking about you and hoping you are taking care of yourself.

kewpie80 06-12-2014 05:58 AM

Yeah, i was surprised they're waiting so long too. I guess it's better than doing one and then nothing. I've heard of clinics doing that sometimes.

HPTs are still darkening and bleeding is a little less. I'm starting to breathe now.

Xerxella 06-12-2014 06:17 AM

@kewpie80 - If you like that plan and want to wait a week, that's fine. If that doesn't work for you, ask for another beta sooner. It's your body and your pregnancy and you need to do what works for you. With this pregnancy when they wanted to do serial betas and u/s's every few days, I knew that wasn't going to work for me, it would just stress me out. So, I said no. I told them when I wanted the u/s and that was that.

If serial betas stress you out (like they do me), then don't do them. If they reassure you, then do them. You're paying them. And what's your asking for isn't unreasonable. Don't be afraid to buck the system and go after what you want.

@chuord - I don't know. I tend to think your cycle will be a bit wonky for awhile. I would think when you have a period, it would be substantial from all the meds you were on. But, I really don't know and I'm just guessing. I would think if you see signs of ovulation, just go with it. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

@alivewithyou - Yep, I second that 10 is what they're looking for in a natural cycle. You sound good to me! :)

alivewithyou 06-12-2014 06:58 AM

I was on femara this cycle.. Is that still okay? I am just happy I for sure ovulated.

Xerxella 06-12-2014 07:57 AM

@alivewithyou - Sounds good to me. Femera usually only makes one follicle and one egg, which is just what you want. And, each corpus luteum makes 10-20-ish of a progesterone level. (This, of course, varies widely and is just a general guideline.) So, it sounds like you ovulated a dominant follicle nicely and hopefully you'll get a nice BFP in a couple days. :) When will you test?

Gosh I have no idea chuord. I would follow what xerxella said. Thinking about you!
Oops, forgot my scan is on the 25th. That's for asking:)

Thanks for the reassurance. I've heard doctors prefer 15 on a medicated cycle so I was slightly worried. My doctor will probably call me in the next couple of days if he thinks I need to go on supplements. I am just trying not to symptom spot like crazy right now. I am trying to hold out until at least Sunday at 11 DPO.

tinytina 06-13-2014 05:23 AM

Hey everyone,

I need to go through and get caught up with my personals.

AFM: We meet with the fertility specialist and the nurse. We have decided to do a IUI with donor sperm. They will do up to 6 cycles without further medical intervention. We discussed ovulation predictor kits. So we need to meet with the psychologist first and than buy our donor sperm and we are ready to go. AF is showing up today/tomorrow so we realistically should be doing our 1st cycle in the middle of August! Starting to feel excited even though time is moving so slowly right now.

I am a chronic worrier/stressor too. I got so nervous in the van on our way up the appointment.

Definitely happy to see all the BFP's this month. Ready to get my own show on the road though.

Hi everyone!

Thanks @monkeyscience

I wish you lived nearby so we could get creative together @adiejan

Hi @tracyamber -glad your scan is soon

Hi @alivewithyou -don't worry, I don't know much either

No problem @chuord . Hugs hun

Hugs hun. Glad your BETA went well so far @iixivboots

Hugs @kewpie80 -hugs during your long wait dear

Hi @Tear78

Hi @toothfairy2be

Hi @Xerxella

adiejan 06-13-2014 05:42 AM

@chuord - I'm sorry I really have no idea! Are your parents still visiting?
@tinytina - so exciting to have a plan! How are you and dh feeling about it all?
@toothfairy2be - how are you love? Are you thinking about what's next or just taking care of you for awhile?
@Xerxella and @tracyamber - thanks for sticking around to help us all out and cheer us on!
@alivewithyou -fx for a BFP in a few days!
@kewpie80 - how are you doing? I hope the bleeding has stopped!

Hi Everyone else!!

AFM- I'm headed to do my retrieval right now! We have a 2 1/2 hour drive...blah! I'll be back later with good news. (I am trying to direct my intentions positively can you tell ;))

tracyamber 06-13-2014 06:32 AM

@tinytina . Wow, to think you could be pregnant in august. Time is definitely moving slowly! @adiejan what are you talking about? I feel so connected to this thread. I feel like you all are my dear friends... Seriously. I know, long drives suck for retrievals and transfers. That's when you wish you lived in a town. It was about 3 hours away for my transfer and retrieval as well. But I didn't need to go to that one, just dh. Please post as soon as you get back
@chuord , hi! @alivewithyou glad things are moving along nicely!
Afm
I know I'm missing some folks. It's not entirely my fault. I just woke up and I do have a toddler following me around. So hello to all!

Yep, bleeding has stopped. I'm wondering now if my body was trying to have a period.

Good luck at your retrieval today! I'll be sending good thoughts about 8 miles northward! Actually, if you're at the clinic I think you are, it'll be more north west.

adiejan 06-13-2014 10:11 AM

Wellllll...hit a snag...eggs weren't ready to come out...have to go again in about six hours...hopefully :)

What? I never heard of this? Are you still in town or did you all drive back home?
