Smile BCBS of MA

Hi all,

I wanted to ask you of your experiences with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. I went to a PPO provider and they want me to pay up front $6,400 for Lab expenses where they will be creating the embryo via ICSI because according to them that lab does not bill insurance and I would have to be reimbursed out of pocket. Also, have any of you been covered for PGD test? Any info will be really appreciate it!

I recommend calling your insurance company. I know MA has a form of universal coverage but I imagine there may still be many different plans with different coverage. Are MA plans required to cover IVF?
