Northern NJ 44 aged women with low egg count

Calling out to my fellow infertile over 40 ladies to see what you guys are trying. Currently I am a patient at RMA and have undergone 3 IUIs. My insurance will no longer pay for any IUIs but will for IVF. The problem is RMA will not let me undergo IVF since I have not produced more than 1-2 eggs a cycle. Their minimum is 3 eggs. The protocol I have been following is 450 Follistrum and 15-20 low dose HGC. Doing it every month and expecting different results is causing me to start thinking it's insanity.
I am curious if any of you have been in a similar situation. What meds are you taking? Anybody know of a progressive fertility doctor that perhaps will work with me without saying a donor egg is my only choice?
Wishing everybody luck and love in their journey

Have you checked out our Fabulous Forty-Somethings Thread? You should find some folks in a similar boat there.

Married to a wonderful woman since 2010. Baby boy C arrived in June 2013!

The only other thing I can think of to try is DHEA. Have you tried that yet?

Good luck.

At one point I was on more than double the follistim that you are on - about 950 /day (split up in am and pm), but still did not get pregnant with my own eggs (though I had move eggs than you - but the quality was still terrible). But I moved on to donor embryos and have a baby who just turned 1. After severel rounds of IVF and about 15 IUIs I thought the same thing - why do the same thing over and over and expect different results.

Mom to DS 12/07 and DD 11/13, plus a bunch of chickens, dogs, and cats.

Moving past many years of infertility and always thinking of my friends in the infertility forums.
