Vasectomy Reversal questions.

Hello all, first let me say i am not a woman i am a man. I had a vasectomy and regret that decision heavily. Anyways i had some questions for those of you. Whose husbands went through a vas reversal. If it isn't to much of a bother, ask your husbands how it went. Also the Dr i will be using is Loddie Roeder in New Braunsfels, TX

1) How was the pain of the procedure ( 1-10 )? and how was the pain after? any residual (1-10)?

2) what did you do to prevent scarring over the vas deferns?

3) what medications did you take?

4) How long did it take you to heal before you were 100%

5) when were you able to resume normal activities? ( working out, etc )

6) what vitamins did you take if any?

7) how were your semen analysis done? what were the numbers? ( 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months )

My husband had a reversal last year and he said it was very painful I was there when the doctor was doing the procedure bless his heart I can't imagine what he went thru. The pain afterwards was intense for him just driving back home was so uncomfortable. Scarring really not much you can do but once it heals doesn't look bad. My husbands work is very physical so he had to make special arrangements to keep it safe and you can't do any heavy lifting for a few weeks to make sure you don't hurt yourself. The doctor recommended us to do the analysis at 6 months then 12 months. If we go past 12 months and haven't conceived he recommended we see a fertility specialist if all analysis come out ok. We went to a doctor in fort Gibson oklahoma Dr. Wilson. He was recommended by two coworkers that went there and had it reversed. My husband after surgery has changed his whole life style he stopped drinking alcohol starting taking vitamins, fertility vitamins also, changed his diet and he is more physically active. He finally did his 12 month test and he is great way above average but he took it serious and changed lots of stuff and his reversal was I think going on 6 or 7 years.
