If anyone here has ever used donor eggs in pursuit of pregnancy, I'd like to hear about yout experiences. Did it work? What do you wish you had known at the onset that you learned through the experience?
The RE told me there was a 70% chance it would work. Is that possible? It sounds high.

There was a woman I know going through the process of becoming a surrogate mother - not donating her egg, being implanted with someone else's egg/sperm. They put her through some extensive counseling/physical examinations, and told her there was less than a 25% chance that any of the implants would take. I think they were going to implant 3 at a time. Hope that helps. U can always google it for info.

I went thru a donor egg cycle, but I used a non-proven donor and a new mistake. I then went on to use a donor embryo that came from an original donor egg cycle at a better clinic. The orig intended parents had trips and stopped there. They donated 11 embryos to the clinic and I got 2 of them. I now have a 9 month old son. I got pregnant at 40. If can be of any further help- please let me know.
Yes and a good donor egg program does have about 70% success rate.
best if luck
