Congrats to Lex! That is so wonderful - especially with the last available sperm - and now your wife gets to carry and puke and BF (and perhaps you will too? - maybe relactate or something?) - and a new baby for your two. That's really, really great news!

I am 10 days PIUI and CD 26 - I usually run a 28 day cycle.... I'm not feeling pregnant at all and based on the sex dreams I had the last 2 nights, I say AF is on her way. I think this will be the last try for us. But I resolved to keep all the baby things another year or so until I'm 40. I keep resisting the urge to pee on my one stick because I like having hope....

Thank u so much for the info, i'm preparing for the symptoms and hopefully it won't be so bad which will make it easier. We will prob know something on friday when we go to the re to see when they will give it to me. Just looking forward to getting through this month, time feels like an eternity when your waiting for something. Hope everyone has a goodnight with lots of dust in the air.

Hi all, I just finished a cycle with hCG trigger shot (I am producing follicles) and progesterone, and my pg test came back negative yesterday. http://www.mothering.com/discussions...s/greensad.gif

The next step my nurse would like us to do is IUI. So, once AF starts again (delayed thanks to progesterone), it looks like we'll be trying our first IUI.

Great to hear the success stories!

ugh! I feel like crap today. Totally nauseous. I did have a beer last night and I usually pay for that. I threw up in the bathroom at work. I'm on CD 27 (and wearing a pad - waiting for AF) and I had my trigger shot two weeks ago Saturday. I was going to wait until Saturday to POAS, if no AF. But now I might do it tomorrow. I really feel awful.

I had a hard time reading everybody's posts without wanting to cry for the losses and such.

I pray for you all and think about you even if I don't do personals.

Today is cd1. I stopped my BCP's a couple of days ago. Natural mom - you had asked if they had done an estrogen test, yes, that and a ultrasound to check for the cysts. So I go tomorrow to see what we are up against.

Unfortunately Dh and I totally screwed up the checkbook and wound up having the bank clean out our savings account to make up for our oops. So hopefully the RE will let us pay her next week otherwise we wait until next month to do the next IUI.

Hi everyone. Yeah - I finally peed on a stick - no go. I'm on CD 29 and no aunt flo yet. I guess it's a little delayed from the meds. My sympathy to you too, snowbell.

Snowbell- again, sorry things did not turn out for you this time. The injectibles hurt my ovaries so much my doc took me in early, (Sunday) to do an ultrasound. There were 3 22ish mm follies, so we triggered sunday night. I hope this cycle works for two reasons. #1) Duh, the obvious #2) He wants to do all injectibles next cycle, and it hurt me so! He says pain is not normal. I am afraid of overstimulation.

Oh Ellien. I'm so sorry. I keep hopin' we'll go together.

Good luck MomtoAlexis and Natural Mom!

If my timing is like the last few months it will land in the middle of next week. Yay, no worrying about Sunday. Our anniversary is this weekend and my DH booked a night for us at a B&B. We've never done that before. I think he's worried about me.

Hello to all. This is my first post, but I think I'm in the right spot. I sometimes feel that none of my friends really understand what I'm going through. I just completed my first IUI this week. I'm crossing my fingers that this works. With all the clomid and such, I feel like a basketcase! On Monday I go for blood work. My birthday is Nov. 4, and AF should arrive at the same time. I'm hoping for a great birthday present.

Welcome to all the newcomers, but sorry for the circumstances that bring you here.

I go in for IUI #3 tomorrow morning. No u/s, just using the OPKs. This cycle is competely natural. Not even a trigger shot! We're feeling more relaxed without having to deal w/the drugs and my side effects, so I'm strangely looking more forward to this IUI than the two prior. What can I say, pre-IUI optimism effects everything!

Good luck to everyone in your tww. Let's get the ball rolling w/some BFPs!

Well, I'm out!!!!!!!!!!! AF showed her ugly face the other day!!! I have an appt. with the RE on Monday so we will see what is next. They said I could only do 3 sessions of clomid and then needed an appt. to talk about the next step. We will see what that might be!!! Good luck to the rest of you we sure need some BFP around here!!!!

After 5 failed IUI's & 6 failed IVF's we threw in the towel w/ ART and then got a NATURAL miracle BFP! Hoping and praying it is finally our take home baby!  Mother to our twins boys in heaven -lost at 22.5wks on 6/20/09 and 1 other little angel in heaven.

Our Miracle has arrived... Caden James...

Sunshine- Best of luck. Let us know how the IUI went.

Kjbarr- Welcome, please make your stay short. I am glad you found us here. I had spent some time on the regular TTC board on MDC, but nobody understands eachother like here.

blueyezz4 -- Sorry it's a no-go. Hopefully the doc will come up w/a workable plan.

Sadly, I'm out before we even got started. DH's washed count this morning was 0.5 million w/bad motility. That's the last straw for us. His count has drastically decreased each month. The earliest he could get an appointment with a specialist is after thanksgiving. At this rate I pray he'll still have sperm. We'll wait for the appointment and then, barring unforeseeable events, do IVF. Really don't want to, but I don't see an alternative w/these numbers. Sorry to be a downer on this already cheerless thread (except lex, of course!). I'll watch for all your BFPs! Good luck to you all.

I'm in my first IUI cycle as well. We did 100mg Clomid and Ovidrel trigger shot followed by two IUIs. The Clomid made me completely mental. I was beyond irritable and got really, really depressed. I did get 6 mature follicles though, which I suppose makes it worth it. I actually thought they might cancel the IUI since I had so many follicles, but they went through with it. The Ovidrel gave me horrible lower abdominal pain. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Thurs and Fri were my IUI days and we had 24 million swimmers each day from DH, so between his good numbers and the six follicles, I'm hoping we have beginner's luck! How do you survive the 2ww? It's killing me already. I keep hoping to "feel pregnant" but of course I don't since it's only a couple of days post IUI.

So the weekend away was nice. I, uh, suspect we broke the bed at the B&B. This is not a metaphor.

I had a lot more symptoms from the Clomid this cycle. Lots more cramping and headaches and this crazy woman keeps speaking for me. The last few cycle my temperatures evened out right before ovulation but this time they've been between 97.0 and 97.5. I can't decide if that is good or bad. It seems less than ideal but the ideal looking cycles didn't lead to a pregnancy. I just don't feel like I'm about to ovulate.

Daisy mae- i had the trigger last wed. And had horrible cramps the next day, it was the same pain as ovulating but 100 times worse. I took tylenol but that didn't help at all. Good thing was it only lasted 2 days. 5dpiui and the wait is the worst. Just trying to work and go out a lot to keep my mind off of it. Let's just keep our fingers crossed.

Masel-so glad to here your trip was good. I'm sure you really needed that.

Hope everyone is well and hanging in there. So glad to have all of you here. Talk to you soon.:d

Hi MomtoAlexis,
My trigger shot was last Wed. too! I was crampy on Thursday, and Friday was even worse!! Saturday was better, Sunday I felt normal and now today I felt a little crampy again. Fingers are definitely crossed and waiting is awful! I go for my blood test a week from Friday. ugh!

Well, it is a week later from my IUI, and yesterday morning I had my blood drawn. The results came back and my progesterone (for day 22 of my cycle) is 134.5. What does that mean? I'm supposed to return to the dr's office Nov. 3 for my next blood test: a pregnancy test. I'm dreading it. I'm afraid to hope...

Masel - Glad you had a great weekend at the B&B. Love B&Bs. So romantic. All of us could probably use a nice B&B mini-vacation.
