I'm pretty sure they're off the market in the US. I had one but I really didn't like it -- it felt difficult to use and my partner said he could feel it on his end and it was uncomfortable. It's got this weird spout on the end and he said it poked him (back, I suppose ).
If I was going to try any kind of barrier method I'd probably stick with a diaphragm, but I'm really happy with my IUD now.
I had to get a prescription for mine, but I know a big part of the draw was it was over the counter in europe. I'm not sure about canada.
