I am glad that so far this cycle seems very "textbook" hopefully the regularity will continue on cycles where DH decides to not use contraception!

I think I have a week until AF, today is 6 DPO.

Akind1- yeah there are moments like that for me, like now as my 1 year old is screaming and pulling at my shirt, boobs, hair because she wants a pen and my 3 year old is banging on her zylaphone and not listening to DF. Yeah I think OMG, a third? I must be insane. I KNOW I want another baby, just sometimes I am not sure another baby will want me. LOL I'm hoping Anna will get used to her new schedule and relax and go back to her easy going self and that Abrielle will continue to get better with age. But I totally understand what you are talking about. I think it can be hormonal too.

I cried on the way to school today. Random and out of no where. I just missed my kids, I think. it was so weird. I never am emotional like that about things that just have to be done.

Ah, I have school work so I suppose I should go do that. Anna is screaming in her crib I should go in and calm her down.

For those chart stalking:

Before anyone gets too excited, I have a history of RPL so I'm being cautiously optimistic. The line is very faint but it's definitely there. I actually thought I might have seen a line yesterday but it was soooooooo faint I wasn't sure. Today it's definitely there. So, if I am truly only 8 or maybe even only 6dpo, the so faint line is no big deal. The info on the ICs I use says they can detect a pg as early as 6dpo so I guess it's possible. If I am 11dpo, then it could be a problem.

MW I am caustiously excited for you
keep testing, so long as the line gets darker, that is a good thing, right?

MM :hello again hopefully DH will be home before O!

T: how is the little one sleeping? I know we want 3, maybe 4, but each successive baby I am sure will be a leap of faith thing. Will you keep up with the "A" names for #3?

AFM: nothing much, just twiddling my thumbs whistle while waiting for :AF to arrive think we have 6 days or so.

Already looking forward to the weekend!

MW - does it show up in a pic?! I wanna seeeee! I know - cautiously optimistic, yadda yadda.

MommatoAandA - Sounds like a bunch of us have little ones who already run us ragged, but want more! I'm in the same boat. But as MW said, now that I'm in my fertile phase, all I can think about is baby-baby-baby!

DH has a kettlebell class tonight, I hope he doesn't come home too tired. Not only is it baby making time, but we haven't DTD since Sunday and for me, that's just too long. Oye.

AND I'm going to have to go back to setting my alarm to temp. Nora STTN and didn't wake me up and it's becoming much more of a habit. YAY for sleep! Boo for missing my temp time!

I truly dislike open circles on my chart.

Just b/ it's faint? Did you not just teach me a line is a line is a line, no matter how faint, and doesn't indicate viability?

A line getting darker is a good thing. However, I've had the line get darker for a few days and then start getting lighter again until it was gone and I bled.

Quote:

If I had a decent camera, it might but it's so faint it may not be visible on a computer screen. I can see lines a lot better on my pc than my laptop screen. Unfortunately, I only have the camera on my phone and it doesn't zoom. I've tried scanning hpts with my printer but I guess they are too small because it doesn't register anything. If they get darker, I'll post a pic.

Yes, I would say that any line is a good thing for most women. The lightness or darkness of a line does not relate to viability. That's what all the literature says. IME, a line this faint is not a good sign for me past 9dpo. Whenever I've gotten a 1st bfp at 11dpo and it was faint, I m/ced. I just went over my charts and with almost all of my m/c charts I didn't get a bfp until 10 or 11dpo and they were very faint.

It may just be the test brand. An IC may detect a pg sooner but be very faint. If I get a chance, I might try a $ Store or an Answer Early. I have to do all of this without dh knowing. He gets really annoyed at my poas obsession.

You know, DH gets annoyed w/me testing early too. We actually had it OUT last cycle. A big fight. He saw my target receipt where I'd bought a box of FRER and a 2 pack of digis. Long story short, he didn't know that most tests out there are early result. He thought that there were super special expensive "early tests" and normal not expensive "wait til you're late" tests. He thought I was being obsessive for getting the ones I got.

He knows I have the super early ICs though, and didn't get upset when he saw I bought those, probably b/c they're really cheap.

But if we didn't have that argument, I wouldn't know how ready he is for another baby. It came out that he really wants another, but just doesn't want to obsess.

I don't know why my dh gets annoyed. He doesn't talk about his feelings much. It could be a money thing. He has what I consider irrational thinking around money. It occurred to me yesterday that it may be that he just doesn't believe in them. Every time I've told him I got a + hpt he made some comment about waiting to see what the doctor says. That may also be the reason he's so lax about his supposed avoiding. If he doesn't think I've been pg as many times as I said, he wouldn't need to be so worried. Quite frankly, no matter how many times I explain all of this reproduction stuff to him, I don't think he really understands it.

The FRER and the digis are expensive, though. I get upset with myself for buying those too early. I need to go to Walgreen's today to pic up some photos so I might get some Answer Earlys. I heard they were on sale.

Why do I get VIP days on a cycle where I know I am not possibly pregnant???? At least it is at what would be a good point in my cycle if I was, 7DPO through 11 or 12 DPO.

MW, keep us posted! when I got pregnant with DS, everyone kept asking if I had got it confirmed by a doctor. most here won't schedule a 1st visit until around 10 weeks anyway. They are just like, "you got a + hpt? great, we'll see you in a few weeks. Let us know if you need us before then"

MW: I don't think a history of early BFPs mean anything if you get a late faint one. It is just all dependant on when the egg gets fertilized and then implants which can be different every pregnancy. and anxious to see a pic of that darker line!

Morning!

MW- I am cautiously excited and totally cheering you on. I bet it is a positive! Your DH's reaction might be a defense mechanism. My DF was like that with my 2 early mc's. It was super hurtful at the time.

Akind1- Yes we plan on continuing the A name thing. Funny enough I didn't notice I did it with my girls. I just noticed a couple of months ago. LOL Our last name begins with A too. Kinda silly. I like Aric for a boy. Shawn isn't fond of it. He likes really traditional names for boys and I do not. It will be a name battle for sure. I plan on going to my birth with a list and naming baby when it seems right. That's what I did with Annlise. She did sleep ok last night. She was definitely crabby and fussy. I am wondering if its a reaction to her first vaccinations on Friday? She did have quite a few. She is super sensitive so I gave her back her bottle with only water whenever she seems to need it. I figure to vaccines and the formula and the new schedule are enough changes. thanks for asking! your very sweet.

Babycakes- yeah it seems as though these little ones are cantagious. Eventhough they make us nuts we want more. LOL How awesome that your LO is STTN more often! I too have to set the alarm for temping or I just wont wake up.

Movingmomma- HI THERE! WELCOME!!! Hopefully O waits for the MR. to be around!

Lyterae- NICE TO SEE U! Hope all is going well with you!!

AFM- Spotting again today. Brown though and the CM is creamy. Still no temp rise. Just not sure what is going on. Gonna keep temping and just bding at least every third day.
I am getting my hair cut at 1:30 and I am pretty excited about that. I have to make the appts for me and my bridesmaids to get our nails done on the Weds before my wedding and then study. A lot. LOL I have a HUUUGE test tomorrow.

Jenn ~ I'd feel more confident about that if I didn't have a problem with recurrent m/c. This would be my 10th pg but I've only had 3 live births. The odds are not in my favor.

T ~ My feelings do get very hurt when my dh discounts what I tell him, especially when it's about losing a pg. He doesn't get it. I think he doesn't consider something like that a real pg.

I started thinking that maybe I should see a doctor in case there is anything I could do to help prevent m/c. Since I don't have a regular doc that I can get in to see quickly I'm out of luck. The only specialist in town who handles RPL won't see anyone without a referral from another doctor.

I totally lied about the hpts. The promises on the front of the FRER box pulled me in. A BFP as early as 6 days before a missed . Answer Early says only 5 days before. Plus, the FRER box of 3 was on sale. Of course, that's assuming a 14 day lp, which really means a possible + at 9dpo at the earliest. I could be there but could not.

This thread seems more like "hoping to conceive" than "whatevering."

Thanks for the good luck wishes, all, but I'm actually hoping not to get pregnant for a few more months. We're planning several trips this fall and it'd be nice not to worry about a little bean during that time. And then we're likely moving sometime in the spring/early summer time frame, and I'd really like to be moved in time to find a good homebirth midwife wherever we end up!

Movingmomma- HEEHEE I think it started out with the greatest intentions of "whatever" but, well, we aren't so good at it I guess. HAHA Some of us here are truly whatevering. Well I hope for you then you can get through the next few months without getting pregnant so you can enjoy all your trips and make sense of the moving thing and a MW. I will be hospital birthing most likely this time, so I know who I am going to see and I just moved. My biggest reservations about this month would be that I would have an April baby and I would much more prefer a May or June baby, even more so, I would like a September,Oct,Dec,Jan ish baby. I have an April 07 babe and a July 09 babe so I would like to not have 2 bdays in a month. I have never had a fall or winter baby might be kinda nice. I also have pending nursing school starting in January ending in December so who the heck knows.

I do know that after much discussion last night after baby 3 comes, there will be no more working for me. Possibly going per diem at the nursing home, but DF thinks it best I stay home with the baby and the other tikes. I sort of agree.

MW- I had 2 early M/C both before my pregnancies could be really confirmed (blood test showed pregnancy but HCG was so low we knew I was M/Cing) Still DF just kept saying that I needed to move on and get over it, they werent really babies yet. He believes life begins at conception so I know he was lying to himself and me. Its hard to cope so I think they just don't. Its pretty crappy on their parts.

T: it could be the shots; I know all my friends LOs seem fussy for a day or two after their kiddos get their jabs (I am the only one I know who doesn't vax, other than DH's chiro, so have no personal experience to quote)

for guys, I think it is really hard, as since they are "personally" pregnant, the babe doesn't seem *real* to them, until they see a scan, or feel the baby kick or see them move from the outside. I am thankful to never had a m/c (that I know of, at any rate) - no matter what or when it happens, it is still a loss.

I would love to be a SAHM, but unless DH gets a super great paying job, then that isn't happening.

Moving: umm, well, I think we all kind of started as a CTA but hoping for an oops . . .I don't really want to actively try; I want a happy accident!

We really are more CTA than whatevering, until Oct/November. but hey, anything is possible, right??

MW: fx that this is indeed a good and true sticky bean! I am a sucker for the digi tests. I don't like guessing at lines in the wee hours of the morning.

It does get very "hoping to conceive" when most of us are fertile or in the 2ww!

I'm very whatever minded throughout the rest of the month - and honestly, I still have a whatever mindset about dtd this week. If it happens it happens. I can't let wanting to conceive rule how I live my life. It's just not where I'm at right now.

Funny how I went from CTA to hoping for an "oops" to hoping to conceive in just a matter of months though!

LOL about the hpts, MW. It's ok, you're forgiven.
I only bought digis in case of a faint line that I don't believe. I could never cut to the chase and use a digi first. I would be so bummed to see Not Pg pop up!! :-( And I would feel super bummed for wasting that money.

This cycle if we do manage to DTD w/decent timing, I'll be testing while DH is out of town. You might be seeing a lot of me during those weeks! I'm going to need distractions!!

The digis aren't as sensitive, either, are they? I don't think so.

Well, I got pics of a FRER on my homepage. That one is a definite pink line. Showed up right away. It is still faint, tho. The pic is really blurry because I only have my phone camera that doesn't zoom or focus. The ladies in the FF chat saw it anyway. I hope you guys can see it, too.

Oh, and even when I was supposed to be CTA I was always hoping for an oops. My form of whatevering is to not push bd just because I'm fertile. Other than that, I'm obsessing all the way!

Wow, a LOT happening here since I checked this thread early this morning.

MW You get pregnant at the drop of a hat girl! I'm hoping and praying for a sticky bean, allllllll the way to a beautiful birth. And a girl too, for good measure.

MovingMomma, it does seem that way to me too. I laughed when this thread first started up because it was supposedly to not obsess and it's like...um...so you start a thread about it? LOL But honestly, this thread is way more fun than the TTC board. Right now I am in a very "whatever" state, but I'm only on CD 10 - ask me in a week!

MW-did I read that correctly-10? Praying for a big sticky this time. I see the line too.

If I remember correctly, with ds1 I didn't test until I was 2wks past my af (wasn't charting) and the blood test barely showed enough to say Pregnant. With ds2, I tested right when af would have been expected. It showed faint, the dr's wanted me to come back the next week, since the levels were "low". The last one was odd-I tested right before af was due and got a faint +. I went to the mw a few days later and it came up -, but on my way home I bought a digital and it came up +. So my levels are slow to rise.

I'm on day 10. Creamy cf starting today. I feel like crap though. Haven't been sleeping too well and just stressed. I have not O'd yet though. I'm determined to not miss any temps this month.
Dh is definitely in the mood lol. I feel like I can go by him for when I'm fertile or not. I'm sure it's a hormone thing, but he gets the same way right before af too, and there's no chance of conceiving then, so....Either way, I'll take what ever chance I can, crazy as that is. I would like to go to the h/s conf next year though.

Boobs-according to Victoria Secret I'm a 34A, but there's no way-I'd be spilling out, but maybe that's their selling point? I'm a 34/6 B. I rather liked being a C during most of my pregnancy, but not so much a very full D for the first few months of nursing. Dh liked them, but I think he prefers my "regular" size. He's more of a "leg/but" guy I liked the Target nursing bras after they added more to the line. I was able to find 35d's and 36c's that worked great. At some point though (around 6m), I was able to switch to my regular bras, and just pull them down to nurse. There seem to be even more variety at Target now, at least when I longingly take a passing glance at them.

MW, for some reason I can't see the pics on FF, must be a browser issue. I believe you though!

I wish I could buy Walmart/Target nursing bras. No such luck. My favorite bra is the Bravado designs basic one, and their Bliss bra. I was just happy to spend less than $60. My favorite non-nursing bras are Le Mystere, but they are super pricey - $75ish (they do make a nursing bra, but is REALLY pricey)

for me whatevering is being content with either a (-) or (+) at the end of the cycle, and that is where I am right now. I know this month is a no-go, and I am perfectly fine with that. Maybe on a month where there is a chance, I will be a bit more . . .antsy

I took a peek in the TTC board; I am so NOT ready for that! LOL

Carrie ~ I keep forgetting to mention something about the FRER that I thought of while I was at the store. I noticed there were 2 types of FRER. One said Early Result and the other said Rapid Result. The Rapid Result one didn't say anything about testing before was due. I wonder if a lot of those very faint + FRER were the rapid result rather than the early result.

I saw both of those types, too. The rapid result one is more geared for women who are late and want to know within one minute. I can wait the 3 min, but I can't wait the full 14 days after I O!

I can't stand Bravado. I was so disappointed when I got mine because they came so highly recommended and they are a bit more expensive than I liked. The one for my size is like wearing a sports bra, no hook or snap closures. I don't like sports bras.

I agree with that one the whatevering, too. It's about being ok with whatever happens in the end. I mean, if you are going to dtd without any protection, you have to be thinking about babies.

I far prefer our group to a TTC group. I just feel like I know you all, like not really but really. Does that make any sense?

Ok I am kind of jumping out of my skin over here and a little perplexed. I took a HPT last night because I was so weirded out by the whole spotting thing. It was an Answer early. I swear I saw a line, but honestly I know that is not possible. I did not O. So I put it in the box and hid it (my mom was here). I took it out later to throw the test and recycle the box and you know when a positive test dries the line in question gets darker? Well its darker. Of course I know this really doesn't count since there is just no EFFIN way. Any thoughts? I kind of feel dumb even telling you all this. I just wonder should I test again? I mean temping kind of tells me there is NO way. I can be PG so it kind of seems dumb. IDK.

MW- CONGRATS. I totally see the line. I wanted to commiserate with you. I have been pregnant 6 times and have 2 children. I was pregnant in highschool and I do not talk about it much because it was a dark time for me. I was in a very abusive relationship. My ex was a drug dealer and a drug addict and drinker. I had 2 later M/C's with him. Both times he caused them. I wont get into details but it was pretty gruesome since I was 10 and 12 weeks pregnant. I just want you to know I know what its like for it to not seem real, to put up the defense mechanism and not get your hopes up. It hurts at 4 weeks, 10 weeks, 11 weeks regardless.. ((HUGS))

Test again! Probably just an evap, but I'd test again anyway. Can you post your chart link?
