When you want another baby so badly but know you have to wait?

We are waiting for at *least* 2 more years (so I can finish school). By the time we get to "try", ds will be 4! I'll be 26! I know that's not old, but compared to being barely 22 when I gave birth the first time...

A lot of friends and acqauintances are pg and out to--------here! I love those bellies, those newborns, and the breastfeeding!

Help me back to reality and help me refocus my energy!

TIA

Hi Bex,
Just know that it will be that much sweeter and more enjoyable to be pregnant when you reach that point in your life. For everything there is a season...KWIM? That time will come. And it sounds like you will have your hands full with school for a little while. That being said, everytime I have ever decided to "wait" to have a baby I have gotten pg shortly after :LOL Best wishes completing your school

Hi Bex! I saw this thread not too long after you posted it and have been meaning to get back to it but... you know how life goes.

We're the same age, and I totally hear you on the "I'll be 26" thing. I'll be 27 before we start ttc. I've always wanted to be a young mama, and this will be pushing it.

So how am I coping? Right now I'm just focusing on how good life is now, and working on bringing myself to a place where I'll be the best mama I can be for when it IS time for my baby to come. Enjoying the time I have with my partner, playing with all my friends' babies (What is it when you're already struggling with the idea of trying to avoid, and EVERYONE around you is getting pregnant? I mean, SHEESH! :LOL ) and enjoying all of the things I won't have as much time for when baby comes. And I cry, and mourn, and remind myself why we're waiting.

Hope this helps. Good luck to you, and feel free to PM/email me if you need a shoulder to cry/vent on, cause I'm right here with ya sister.

Peace.
