I'm due to give birth any day now, and my DH and I have been discussing birth control. Ugh. I've really enjoyed not having to worry about it for the last year or so! haha!
So, I've considered everything out there. I don't want any hormones. I've had a paragard, but I had terrible side effects with it. I hate condoms. I've used charting and FAM successfully for years, but since I'm going to be nursing the baby soon, I don't feel comfortable using FAM until my cycles regulate again.
I like the idea of the diaphragm, but it seems kind of old-school, lol! Anyone have any experience?
My second choice would be to try a Mirena, and hope the side effects are not as bad as they were with the paragard.
