I should start by admitting I know this is supposidly a very rare thing to happen.

However I am well aware you CAN get pregnant with the Mirena in so I would like to pose the question, has anyone here actually fallen pregnant with it in?
I am well aware that after every period it should be checked to see if it's still in the correct position.

I had my Mirena put in September '11 and so far have NOT had it checked.
Now I am engaged and having sex again I wonder just how easy it is to fall pregnant.

A week ago I was in hospital suspected to have an Ectopic pregnancy, appendicitis or Ovarian cysts. The pregnancy tests I did (2) and the one the hospital did were both negative. I am due on today - and I still haven't come on so I am starting to worry a little. However I have just done another pregnancy test and got a BFN.

Any help most appreciated.
