but I need to ask. Are there any mamas here who've had a tubal ligation? If so, did you find that your periods became heavier? I'm on my second PP cycle, and I've always had a heavier cycle than some women, but so far this morning, I'm on my 3rd super-plus tampon (sorry for the gross graphics, guys) and it's only 1:00 pm! This is way heavier than before my ligation, and I'm trying to figure out if the two are connected. The amount of flow a woman has is dependant upon the thickness of the uterine lining she has built up, right? If this is the case, why would clips placed across the tubes increase the amount of flow? I have checked on the net, and this is a very common side effect of this procedure, apparently. When I asked the OB who performed the procedure, he said this is a misconception,; that women just 'forget' the amont of flow they previously had, and look to blame such things on the ligation/surgeon . I don't think so, Joe-I've had my period long enough to know, you know?
Anyways, am I just crazy, or does anyone else have this experience?

PS: Part of why I am asking this is because I'm wanting to upgrade to The Keeper, or some such product, but not sure if it's do-able with such a high flow volume.
Thanks mamas!
