Hi -
I'm new to all this NFP/FAM stuff, but I'm very interested in part because my husband and I are 1) very fertile and 2) irresponsible with condoms sometimes (and all other methods strike me as yucky or annoying).

Anyway, AF returned at a bit over 5.5 and then at 7 months postpartum. I think it came because right before both times I left DD with family for 6-8 hours at a time (several times) and she had previously frozen breastmilk. (We had emergency house issues and I missed my babe so much and hated being away from her).

So now it's been 6 weeks since my last visit from AF and I took a pregnancy test and I'm not.....

DH is almost exclusively BF (meaning she'll have a couple cheerios or a bit of beans and rice) but still nurses like a fiend often several times in an hour but at least every 2.

So my take on this is that AF might stay away now that DH and I are joined at the hip again and that it just came because of those couple freak days that messed up my body....Anyone? Anyone?

I have always known when I ovulated because of CF and the regularity of AF but now I feel all confused with the BF and no AF to make me certain of anything. So hopefully I'll begin charting this week and start making some sense of what's going on in there.

Sorry, that was a bit of a whine.

Thanks in advance for any advice,
Heide

Addendum: Well, now this is funny. I kid you not the second I submitted this last night I got AF BIG TIME. Go figure.
