I am on day 22 of my cycle with no ovulation (but about 9-10 days of semi-fertile to fertile mucus which is very unusual for me). I am definately not pregnant (temp too low--96.8) and we are TTA. Could this be because of instense stress early in this cycle (brother in law killed in car accident)? I am feeling nervous because I have had annovulatory cycles in the past (dx as PCOS but I believed it was actually due to going off the pill). I guess with 90+ day cycles (ended with provera) in my past (3 years ago), the not ovulating is making me question my body. Any thoughts or advice? Do I just keep waiting or try progesterone?

Stress can definitely throw things off. Can you see a wholistic practitioner to help you? Vitex herbal tincture can help regulate cycles but takes a while to work. Also need to check out your diet and environment to see all that is affecting your health.

ITA with the pp that emotional stress can definetly do it, as can physical stress. Have you been sick? I ask this because I used to have very erratic cycles, where I'd have very delayed ovulation and something like 55 day cycles, but always variable. Turns out I had two huge massivly hemoragging ulcers that had been there for years. The ulcers were treated in early feb and my cycles have been regular like clockwork ever since. Just something to think about, I dont want you to get all paranoid HTH
