I want a Samhain 2008 baby - thought I'd prefer the calendar date to be November 1st.

I'd like a TTC in 2008 discussion, though!

Sounds like a good idea

I've been popping into the waiting until 2007, but realistically were going to have to wait till early 2008 to TTC. But that would give me and autum baby too.

Stamps her feet and acts generally impatient

Planning to start TTC late 08. DD1 and DD2 are 3y and 10m apart, it took me a year to get pg with DD2 (Bfing is GREAT BC for me). I finally got pg with DD2 after seeing an herbalist, so I want to start earlier next time knowing that I'll probably have to induce AF back again, and find a regime that works for me.

I can't believe that I'm already setting a time period for TTC #3, but DD2 is much calmer then DD1 so I feel like I can this time.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

I want to TTC in summer of 2008.

It would be so good to have a thread, it makes it seem closer than it really is!

Right now it feels like I have to wait FOREVER!

I wanted to TTC late 2008 but dh wants to start in 2007 so it's all up in the air right now. He threw me for a loop and I can't decide what to do. I guess we'll play it by ear. I want a late spring baby this time though so whatever we decide we'll be TTC in late summer/early fall.

mommy to ds 11/05, dd1 01/08, and dd2 01/10!

I am hoping to TTC this time next year. I'll be almost 37 at that time and am starting to wish we had started earlier-- now I am worried about my age and multiples. I want 1 more, but not 2.
I have to lose at least 40 lbs before we even think about TTC.

I've got to lose weight too, lasergirl. We want to UP/UC, but I know that right now my weight would put me at higher risk of complications, so a-dieting and a-exercising I go.

Anyone else trying to lose weight before TTC? Or making lifestyle changes in general? Dd was unplanned, so I didn't before her, but I did before ds and then I'll make even more before this one. I just can't seem to be motivated unless it's about someone other than me.

I can't believe I'm writing this when my youngest is 7 months and my oldest is 28 months... but... we're planning on TTC December of 2008. So I guess I barely fit on this thread. We're shooting for a 9/9/09 baby. That would put baby a little over three years from my youngest and 5 years from my oldest. Nice spacing, I think.

Oh, and I'd love to get back to my pre preg weight before doing that. I've got about 20 lbs to loose.

Firstly sorry, I think all I'm going to contribute to this thread is whinging about having to wait so long. But I want a baby now! I'm so impatient
I keep breaking down in tears and getting frustrated all the time at the moment. I'm fed up with my life and just want to jump forward a year and get pregnant and be a mummy. Ohhhh it will be so wonderful, I know its what my life is here for now.

I'm a lurker at heart, but... It'd sure be nice to 'see' other people in the same sort of space I'm in!

I'm 30 now, my DH is in school until April 2008. Our TTC date (for our first!) is tentatively set to early June '08. I'll be turning 32 at that point, and feeling hideously old!

I'm in the same boat as a few others here - I really want to lose some weight before we make that TTC mark - I decided today to cut sugar out of my diet as much as I can, and hopefully, combined with some exercise, will be ready to go in no time at all!

Anyhow - thanks for bringing up the option!

Hi everyone!

This is my first post. Like Care stated above, I've been lurking for a little while and I'm so happy I found these forums.

My husband and I were just married 6 months ago, and we've been talking about TTC our first in mid-2008. If we were to become pregnant relatively quickly, I'd be 28 and he would be 34 when the little one is born. We are practicing FAM now to learn as much as possible and, hopefully, make the TTC process a little easier!

I really enjoy reading all of these posts. A lot of your views on natural parenting strike a chord with me. Thanks!

Welcome to MDC, Eastern Shore, Care & Cx. You'll love it here.

I'm in a different position because both of our babies were surprises... so it's interesting to actually be waiting to TTC for once. Though my life is so chaotic now with baby & toddlerness that I don't mind letting things settle a bit!

I know what you mean. SO and I had another one of those "talks" a few days ago and he's pretty solid in how he feels - at least for now.

The last thing I want to do is push though.

I think DH and I are going to start trying about one year from now. We're pretty sure we want to have two more kids, and aim to have the next one around my daughter's 3rd birthday (will be on 11/19/08). That way, DD and DS will both be in Montessori school so I'll have a little time at home with just the baby...

Everyone once in awhile, though, DH and I think our family is just so perfect now that we don't want to change it in any way. I think, though, that when both our kiddos are weaned and pottylearned we'll be desperate for a cuddly little newborn again! We'll see if that happens by one year from now...

Mama to DS (05/04) and DD (11/05), married to a wonderful DH.

Hehe...I'm thinking of ttc in 2012 becasue I think I want about a five year spacing, so I'll have to wait awhile before a thread for me pops up!

You could always start a "TTC in 2012" thread and see who joins you! Sounds so futuristic, doesn't it?

I'm going to say that me and my DH will be TTC sometime in 2008, would be sooner if I had my way, but wedded bliss is a two way street. By 2008 we will have been married for 2 years, but together for 6. I'll be 26 and he'll be 28 not super old, but I already feel the clock ticking. I'm ready for my second child, which will be his first. But I'm impatient.

I'm glad I can stop lurking too. We're waiting until May '08 ish to ttc #1, but the baby bug has hit me recently. The plan is to pay off our cars and student loans early and build up a little more savings. Then I can be a SAHM!

Is anyone else nervous that they'll have trouble getting pregnant when the time finally comes? I may go off the pill and do natural family planning at the end of the year.

It will be late 2008, more like early 2009, if I have my way... but somehow I think that's just wishful thinking. Dh is still in the "Yes I want kids, but I'll just know when I'm ready and I'm not ready NOW" phase. Sigh.... and I've got 6 years until our agreed upon "if we haven't had a child yet we're having one right now" date.: So he'll probably make me wait!

I know what you mean. If I had my way, it would be now: . But "my way" isnt "our way" and its always better (for us) to wait until we are both ready.
