I have been thinking of names for a while. DH and I don't usually agree on this type of thing so U have a list of the names I like so when the time comes I have plenty of alternatives to find on we agree upon.

I haven't posted in a while, so it's fun to see all of the new people!!

We're kind of not sure if we are still wanting to TTC. A part of me really does, but we're in such a good groove right now that it would be hard to go back and start all over again. I'm on day 6 of my cycle, and if we ARE going to TTC this year, we'd like it to be this month...so that means we've got ~10 days to decide! :

The truth is, I would be very happy to find out I'm pregnant, but at the same time, I am *REALLY* enjoying having a bit more time and energy to myself as DD gets older and more independent. But my best friend is visiting this week, with her two boys (7 and 2), and I see the bond they share, and see how much DD absolutely adores my friend's oldest son, and I think that it would be so awesome for her to experience that sibling love. So, yeah. Sigh. I don't know what to think right now!!

Ever-evolving mama to my beautiful Brynn, and my little dimple-face Noah .

Just wanted to say that we're pretty sure we're going to start TTC in December - when DP gets insurance.

does anyone else think about names?
I have been obsessing on this one for some reason. I have this "vision" that we are going to have 1 more girl and 2 more boys.....(I dont know why, I just do) I even have names thought out....well 1st names...middle names are harder to come up with...
I have names pretty much settled. The names are changeable & interchangeable.

Me too! On the TTC, names, diapers, etc. Well, I wanted to TTC in September, but I think I may have to choose between late August or early October to start trying (somewhat long cycles). Ideally I want a summer '09 baby while I'm not teaching but still on school insurance for the whole pregnancy. Isn't it great to finally be getting close?
Yay for another Septish ttc mama!

I am taking flinstones vitamins (my GYN told me to take them instead of a prenatal because I cant swallow large pills) and 400mg of folic acid over and above what is in the flinstones and also am going to start drinking some red raspberry leaf tea.
I have also in the last 2 weeks started eating more veggies and fruit and trying to stay away from chips, candy, pop. . .and let me tell you that is so hard for me. I am a snacker and a sugar nut!! But If I can get down to maybe one "bad" snack a week I will be pleased.

My friend had her baby on Friday (4th July) - and I just saw her yesterday!!!...OMG!!! - She so tiny and perfect and lovely! - I saw her again today at a 'Cafe Club' we go to (two hour play session for children with lunch for both your children and you only £2!!! lol)....

I just wanted to share with you all that my son was not jealous!!!... This was something that was starting to concern me when it came to other people and their babies (and my baby fever! hehe)...I dont know exactly what it was. Maybe it was the fact we first saw the new bundle of joy at their house (which we visit often so our sons can play together) or that he has seen my friend through most of her pregnancy or even that we talk about babies and pregnancy etc now and at this age he can understand it so much more....or all of the above. But it was nice to know my son was completely fine and happy with me holding and cooing over this little tiny bundle! He even told me off when he first saw her - I was stroking her hair and he said 'excuse me - baby is sleeping!' lol...How sweet!

I hear ya! I try to limit myself to something yummy once a day. Your strong doing it once a week, I think I would buckle!

I'm taking a chewable Centrum. When I was looking at prenatal vitamins they were all expensive & huge! I think I would gag! I should look into adding more folic acid. What does the red raspberry leaf help with?

I've been taking prenatal vitamins (from Wal-Mart ), trying to eat healthy and exercise a bit while trying to gain weight.

I have one wonderful husband and one wonderful little toddler boy!

I tried the chewable centrum and couldnt handle them. They made me sick to my stomache. My GYN said maybe it was too much vitamins for me to handle at once? I dont know...But so far I am feeling great on the flinstones.
I found my folic acid in 400mg little bitty pills at sams club for like $3.00. There are like 250 pills in the bottle and I am taking one a day for now.

The red raspberry leaf tea is a uterus toner and female tonic. There is a thread on Im pregnant that is all about red raspberry leaf tea. I am taking it to try to regulate my period/bring it back after birth control pill and just tone my uterus and help me be ready for baby. :-) Most women dont start drinking it til 2nd trimester because some people say it can cause miscarriage. I dont know if thats true cause I have a friend who drank it from day one all the way til labor. I guess it could depend on your body too.

And, I think I should introduce myself properly here. I was originally here because DH and I were planning to TTC - this month, actually - but my doctors just advised me to wait a few months for medical reasons. I'm waiting, but DEFINITELY wanting.

Has anyone else been in the same situation? In my case, it's my fibromyalgia medications. :/

i've been looking for liquid prenatals but can't find them! i have a rx but it was just a suggestion to my doc. i would like to get a rx for any prenatals that i am going to take but i don't think flintstones are covered. those things are $5+ a bottle from what i can find and that would mean THREE of us in the house taking them.

i also HATE the horse pills. i am to sensative and took them for only 1/2 my pg with ds and 2 weeks with dd. i need to take something though!

oh and banana you can have my last 10 lbs. they are the begrudingly hard ones to loose so they'll stick to you real well!

course it might help if i exercise.

Try looking at sams club for flinstones. Thats where I buy mine. It was much cheaper than walmart. And since you have so many taking them the large quantity wont be a problem.

I cant help with that because I have never tried them...But I have heard different people tell me that the off brand of flinstones at walmart taste the same. But from personal experience I dont know.

ann your blog is nice, I keep trying to start one of my own but I never know what to write.

My current cycle is a bit wonky I O'd on CD 12 which is a few days early for me.I think it is because I didn't take my vitamins, nor did I eat well the last couple of weeks due to a foot injury and not being able to get about well. Oh well My predicted O date for TTT next cycle is Aug 5. If I O then My TWW will end on DH's B-day. I think getting pregnant would be a great 30th birthday present.

I look forward to seeing all of the August ladies on the one thread. I will probably migrate over there when AF arrives around the 22nd.

Ok ladies, so here is what I am changing/doing to make myself healthier in the next few months before BFP. :

* Drinking 2.2 liters of water a day (got a water jug at walmart and that is the size of it so I know I have to drink it all by the evening)
* Switching to make ice tea with Green tea instead of regular lipton and also using 3/4 cup of sugar instead of 1 cup of sugar in the tea. (cant go any less cause dh likes sweet tea )
*Switched from milk chocolate to dark chocolate
*Stopped eating so much beef, pork. . . .started cooking with more fish, shrimp, chicken, turkey meat. Dh likes turkey "hamburger" in stuff I make better than beef hamburger.
*Started exercising on my gazelle 15 minutes a day every day (hard for me cause I have no motivation)
*Stopped drinking pop- a few diets here and there but never more than one a week.
*Started a daily regimine of taking my vitamins (have been slacking in this in the past) and also started taking folic acid.
*Stopped buying potato chips and started eating pretzel thins and tortilla chips with salsa instead
*Started eating fruit and veggies with every meal instead of mac and cheese and package rice...etc. .(ok so I still use a package rice every once in a while but mostly I try to use fresh/or/frozen veggies ,sweet potatoes and fruit.)

Ok...now I put all this on here so I cant go back on my word and slack :-)
