We are sooo not ready to have another baby...Leo is not yet 3 months old and I have another 10 pounds to lose and money is tight and I'm still in school. IE the necessity of birth control. I got fitted for the diaphragm and we haven't but have yet to use it...(I know we should be). We can't find spermicide! We went to 2 grocery stores, Wal Mart, a dollar store...all I've found is individual packets which are very expensive! I just want a tube of plain old generic nonoxynol-9 spermicide. Does anyone on here use a diaphragm? Where do you buy your spermicide??? Thanks!

This isn't about parenting a baby so I am moving it to family planning. Good luck!

you can get it from the drugstore.

years ago i used one by KY, was just KY jelly with spermicide in it, but for some reason i think they don't make it anymore. but you should be able to find some at a pharmacy or drugstore.

you can buy it at any pharmacy (walgreens, cvs, maybe not the grocery store). sometimes it's behind the counter, and sometimes it's on the shelf.

when were you fitted for the diaphragm? if you were fitted pre-baby you need to be refitted. Any significant weight loss or weight gain (that is 20% change in weight) can also make it less effective, so you might want to get refitted.
