I think it would be a wise use of my time to spend time marketing dp's website. I know next to nothing about marketing, though!
He's a music teacher, and has a guitar learning site. The in peson lessons are doing great, but the online portion has been ongoing for years, but has never made lots of money (though it did pay for my CD habit
s). It's a good product. It HAS to be a matter of marketing!
His google ranking is decent for local searches (first or 2nd page for "guitar" plus our city).
First, I read about ezine articles, so I've passed that on to him. Where else should we look at advertising? He does videos on YouTube that direct people to the site.
Secondly, how do we go about determining the right rice to charge? Too expensive, and people won't pay. Too cheap, and it seems like it's not worthwhile, kwim?
Any other marketing advice? Where did you go to learn about effective online marketing campaigns (that are free or cheap)?
