I would like to be a WAHM and love to proof read.  Any suggestions/resources for getting started?

I don't do proofreading, I grade papers, kinda the same thing right? Look for online teaching assistant jobs if you are interested.

I'm a member at Guru.com. Proofreading isn't my niche, but I see a lot of proofreading jobs listed there. You can be a low-level member for free; it might be worth checking it out to see if you're interested. If you are, I recommend getting the Guru level membership, which makes you more likely to be selected for jobs.

Maybe copyediting is what you're looking for?  Guru might be a good place to start.
