I'd really like to get into writing again. I've had effectively a fifteen year break so I am restarting, also what I was writing, and starting to get published, was short stories and actually I'd rather be writing articles at this point in my life (my life feels too bitty atm to do fiction, iywim).
What I need is a kick to get me started, specifically I think I need a book that will hold my hand a bit, and break down the task for me into chunks.
I know how much competition there is out there, but this is something I need to at least try.
So-any book recommendations?
Oh if it makes any difference at all I am in the UK.
