OK, went back and checked the DBP boards and still have no clue what the parameters of that contest were. Could someone help this over-due pregnant woman out? Oh, and 17 of those 20 referrals signed up in July or early august and have never done anything, so they're obvious losses-they probably signed up on another GPT site! LOL

My cashout for this month (I started this on Aug. 1-Thank you OctoberSweetHearts!) was:

DBP $394.30
FC $117.40
IPz $58.80
TT $60.20
Total - $630.7

About $75 of that goes back into our account for S&H or $1 signups.

So I cleared $555 for no more than an hour a day! As soon as I get these checks in the mail, I'm a believer!

Homesteading, unschooling mama of three.

Well people, I'm about to give up. After four days or something I only have 12 bucks. I don't get why I'm not crediting. I am deleting my cookies, doing the . email address thingy.

I'm only doing DBP so I don't get confused and do the same offer twice. I do an offer and nothing happens -- it doesn't say that I'm "awaiting" or "approved" it just looks like nothing happened. I am so sad because I really thought this would be a good way to earn money for Xmas gifts.

The only thing I can think of is that I'm using a Mac. We do have a pc, too, so I could use that, but will it look fradulent if I do that?

Wow, you all sure made a lot! I ended up with about $100 total between DBP and Fusion... but most of my time went into figuring out what I was doing and setting up my stuff. And I really didn't spend that much time on it. Plus I'm having trouble with offers crediting, hopefully using IE will fix that. This month I'll branch out on another site or two, and do something more than freebies. I can't wait until payday just so I can get a Simon Card and not be so fearful of anything that needs CC info.

Yesterday was a big deal for me, though. I only did two trials so far, just to try that process out, and I had to call and cancel my first offer (Real.com). I am normally horrrrrrrrrrible at calling people, so just the fact that I called is a big deal! I'm pretty sure I was calling India, as I had trouble understanding the guy and his attempt to talk me out of cancelling. That's not very effective!
So this whole thing has turned into a personal growth experience for me in getting me to use the phone. Hooray!

Mama, I use a Mac and have had OK success with freebies. I am using Safari as my browser, as DH hates IE and won't install it for me. I usually use Netscape, but not for GPT sites.

I hadn't spent much time doing this at all in August.... busy with starting a new job, my mom's visit, and more! But, with a bit here and there, I managed to cash out for:

83.50 at Deal Barbie,
48.80 at Instant Profitz,
and 86.40 at Fusion Cash.

Nice extra cash for spending only a few dollars and a few hours! More next month- I'm hoping to do the casino offers, and do more big money offers. Fun!

Wow, Dana, congrats on the contest! So, how much did you spend on trials out of those earnings? I'm trying to set a trial fees budget for next month but I'm not sure how much I'll need.

I spent $47.60 on trials this month between 3 sites. I made $185.40 off those trials.

I also spent $97 on the Russ Dalbey offer at IPz. I decided not to keep it, and they offer a full money back guarantee (my cc has already been refunded btw). So I paid nothing for it and received $110 from IPz for doing it.

The rest of my earnings came from Casino & Bingo offers. I was totally apprehensive about doing these and never would have tried them had I not read the forums at DBP. I decided to try it out and they are really a GREAT way to make some money if you are sure your not going to get addicted

I thought I would just be ahead the difference between what you are required to deposit and the payout. For example, if you have to deposit $50 in the casino to make $90 from DBP. I thought I would just be ahead the $40 profit. Well, from what I understand, I can also withdraw that $50 from the casino. So basically, if you are conservative and don't go crazy on the casino, you have esentially spent nothing and made $90 profit.

This is what I understand from another mama who is more experienced than me on it. I haven't actually withdrawn that money...I was afraid to before I actually got paid by DBP.

Dana, mom to Avery & Natalie 7 , Cole 4 , and Baby #4 on the way!

I have a question. I cancelled 2 trials, and when I called to cancel it was just a message telling me to leave my name, email and phone number and my trial would be cancelled. So it did that, but I'm nervous that my trial isn't going to be cancelled because I didn't talk to a real person. Anyone else have experience with this? Also, for one of my trials, my Simon account denied the charge after it had accepted it. But I got the sample in the mail. So do I still need to cancel the trial? Why would the charge have been credited back to my account?

congrats to all the mamas who won contests! I just love DB's contests. I tried each one of her contests for the most approvals and even though I didn't win I made a lot of money on those days getting so many approvals So it was well worth it!

I'm just loving the GPT and I can't wait to get my check and start doing some trials, because I made over $200 just on freebies in August!

A friend asked me for some info on how to get started and my email ended up being so long I turned it into a little ebook. It's pretty much stuff that can be gleaned from the threads and is basic but I think it's formatted nicely. If any of you gals want to read it, PM me!

Congrats again mamas

Congratulations to the contest winners and also to those who cashed out this month for the first time!

I only worked on gpt programs for about 2 weeks in August but still managed to do pretty good.

DBP ~ $550
IPz ~ $188
PB ~ $43
Flip6 ~ $225
paid surveys ~ $160
and a bit more on a few programs that probably total about $50 but I haven't cashed out yet... so a little over $1200 total for August.

Thanks for the tips on the casinos, Dana. I have been wanting to try them but I am a bit nervous. Off to read a bit on DBP.

You guys ever get credited for an offer you didn't actually complete? Here's the deal. My first paid trial the other day, I signed up to get credit but then (after checking the balance of my simon card) realized the charge didn't go through. I don't know why, it had enough $$ on it to cover, but it was denied. I just thought the offer would be denied (since obviously I didn't complete it) but it went through approved today. So I got paid $15 that I'm not really entitled to.

Do I report that to someone?

AnnieMarie- I'm really only active with DBP at the moment since I just started, but they say for US residents only. Maybe someone else will know more about the other sites, I'm not familiar enough to say.

Instant Profitz has some offers for international users. I would check them out first. Other mamas may know if any of the other sites have international offers.

Okay, I just started on IPz and I can't see where any of the offers are pending. I clicked on one of the offers from the home page, completed it and closed the window. But I can't find a pending section. Am I missing it?

Edited: Nevermind. I just was paid for it!

Katie ~ IPz doesn't have a pending section. The offer will go into your "completed" list once it approves and your account balance will reflect your earnings. You will have to keep up with your pending offers. It's the only negative aspect of their program imo. Good luck!

I'd like to try this at the DealBarbiePays site, but this 13 pages of talk has me THOUROUGHLY confused. If anyone feels like giving me a step by step walk through all of this (especially the surveys and putting in different email addys?) I will be forever greatful. I've been spending the last 1 1/2 at the DBP website looking at it and the FAQ section and I'm just lost. I registered an account there, but now I'm thinking I shouldn't have on this computer and that I should have done it on my laptop (so when I'm in the hospital while DS is in the NICU I can do this stuff).

Please, some one either PM or private email me at: ambrose_mdc@yahoo.com.

I need help.

So hang on, quick question. I'm attempting the stamps.com one. I dont think I've ever done anything like it before. It wants me to give a credit card. Can I cancel before my trial is over and still get credit? Or do I have to let it charge $15.99 at the end of my trial? Also... if I can cancel it before the trial is over, how many days before I cancel??

I've been thinking I might be interested in signing up for one of the bargain.com trials, but I have a question about cancellation if I decide I don't want to continue with it. The trial is a combo of cars and homes, but in the terms and conditions it lists one phone number to call if you're subscribed to Bargain Cars and one for Bargain homes. Any idea if I have to call both numbers, or which one I should call?
Also, there seem to be a lot of trials listed for Bargain.com; can I do more than one of them?

Bargain.com has several different programs. I've signed up with the houses one, cars one, and then a shopping one. I couldn't find anywhere that that was a problem. Also, there was no problem when I called to cancel them. I got credit for all of them. However, if I had signed up for the broad "Bargain.com" trial, I would have cut myself out of several separate trials since they were covered under the broad one.

I signed up for the separate trials weekly instead of at the same time: homes one week, cars the next, etc. that helped when I called.

The Stamps.com offer is great! It's a legitimate program. I'd feel safe giving my credit card, but as always, I'd feel safer giving a prepaid credit card! This offer has a reputation of clearing your GPT site fast. Mine cleared within 12 hours of completing the offer.

They want your credit card because they are assuming that you are really interested in the program and that at the end of the trial period, you will want to stay with them. With your credit card on file, they can smoothly transition you into a paying member.

If you cancel before the trial is over (I always wait until a few days before the deadline), they never charge your credit card a dime.

I did this offer on Fusion Cash and got $20 free and clear. Easy peasy!

Email the admin at DBP and tell them you need to change computers. Shouldn't be a problem if you don't bounce back and forth.

Hi I found out about GPT sites on a thread over in WAHM. Anyway I have been doing it for less than a week and am definitely a newbie. I am having the most luck on IPZ....I have made about 30 bucks there easy. Also Inbox dollars made about 15 there. So not too bad. I don't see how some of you can earn in the hundreds though, what's your secret??

I did the stamps.com trial and I felt comfortable giving my cc, since I know it's a legit website. Easy 20 bucks for sure.

Anyone ever have problems of DBP?? I just never seem to get paid for anything I do there.

I am guessing some of it is through their referrals?
