I am starting a local cloth diapering company and I am having trouble coming up with a name. When I was younger, my family used to call bottoms "butterbeans" so I was thinking of using the name Butterbean Babies Diaper Company. But, does that just sound stupid to the general public who doesn't know the meaning behind the name?

have to say also i totally dig the laundry smilie

The truest answer to violence is love. The truest answer to death is life. The only prevention for violence is for the heart to have no violence within it.  We cannot prevent evil through any system devised by mankind. But we can grapple with evil and defeat it, but only with love—real love.

I really ike that--we are having trouble coming up for a name for our wood toy company!! Can't really use anything with "natural" as not all our toys are "natural" wood (some are painted) We'd love some help and I'd be happy to send a toy toanyone who comes up with a name we use. (not to horn in on your thread)

I think it's CUTE! I like it, and with the "Diaper Company" part, I think people will know what your business is all about. You can always explain the meaning behind "Butterbeans" in any flyers, ads, or brochures you might distribute, or on an informational webpage.

I say use it!

Melanie - too cute! I don't think they have to know the signficance, but keep in mind you'll design a logo around it. Have something in mind?

I just like Butterbean Diaper Company - I think it flows better, imho.

Logo idea...little cartoon butterbean wearing a cloth dipe. For the hair, make a little bean vine with a couple of leaves.
