Hi everyone!

I'm the youth director at my UU congregation and the kids would like to sell canvas shoppping bags, imprinted with our logo as a fund raiser. I love the idea, but I'm having trouble finding a source for bags cheaper than $5 a bag!!!

Do any of you have a source you'd be willing to share with me? We need probably 200 bags with the option of getting more if we sell out.

Thanks!

I know you asked for canvas, but does it have to be canvas?

Wholesale, plain bags are $2.50 each. Bags with logos are $3.50 each. They're nylon, though.

Those chico bags look cool! And I lurve Dharma... but I'm really hoping to find bags at a lower price... at $4 - $5 a bag, we won't make any profit

Are you getting them screen printed you mean? Your screen printer will have a source where they can get them much cheaper. You have to be an apparel decorator to get the best prices, so it's best to go through who is actually imprinting your bags.
Many times people bring us t-shirts to print and they end up spending more than if they just would have let us buy them.

Try http://www.a-plasticbag.com/tote-bags-set-1.htm

No idea if that would work, but that link goes to that company's $2 or less section.
