Well, my midwife said my baby dropped-big time. (yey! No heartburn for 2 whole days!)

How long can i expect? Is there an average? I'm due Christmas Eve...the 24th.

With my DS I was induced at 41 week. So my midwife thought I'd go long again possibly.

I'd love to know some opinions!

Oh gosh, last time belly dropped around 32 weeks (baby was born at 39 weeks exactly). Just because baby's engaged doesn't mean labor happens in 24 hours or whatever. But my belly dropped over a week ago this time and I'm only 30 weeks+ complete now. I think I just have babes who get low early. Means nothing in terms of impending labor. At least not for me. Sorry.

But hopefully it's different for you.

Good luck!
