Is it same thing as red raspberry tea in a teabag you get at a store? How long do you need to take this leaf tea to get any positive effects on pregnancy and labor/delivery?
I'm due in 3 weeks, and my mw suggested last week that I drink red raspberry tea (not leaf) in a teabag for help with sciatic hip pain.
If this leaf tea is different from the tea in a teabag (Bigelow or Celestia makes them), where do you all get this leaf tea, online?
I'm anxious to know since I don't have much time. Thanks so much.

The red raspberry tea your mw recommends will probably be raspberry leaf not simply a fruit tea. RRL is beneficial for many conditions and really helpful to pregnant women particularly. Most health food stores will carry a RRL tea either loose or in teabags. I'd check the yellow pages and just give them a call. If in doubt speak to your midwife. She'll probably be able to tell you where to buy it too.
