Tear78 - So sorry to hear your news. We hope you will be back very soon!

Brin - Glad you got something to help with the nausea. Hopefully the reason you crashed last night was just because your poor body was so worn out from being miserable that as soon as it was feeling ok, it needed a nap!

I am still here, still waiting for a symptom. I keep my pee stick (yes, there is a cap on the end!! I can't believe you had to ask that!) on my computer keyboard because otherwise it just doesn't seem real. DH thought my belly looked a bit bigger last night, but I do not see it. And I am on the lookout for the smallest change...

I totally didn't feel any different, except for being more sleepy, until I started getting sick. Let me tell you, I feel pretty damned pregnant now. I look back at those days longingly now. Although it's nice to have some feedback that the little pumpkin seed is doing its thing in there, I'd gladly give up the sickness in exchange for a little more mystery.

I was so afraid that I'd crash last night that I didn't take the RX that I got, and now I wish I had. I think it had a residual effect on me yesterday, as I did feel a bit better during the day. This morning is still a question mark. I've decided to take tomorrow off from work and stay in my jammies all morning.

How is everyone else doing? I hope you are all feeling well!

Brin, wife to my best friend , mother of three . and now homeschooling!!!

ShwarmaQueen: I'm so glad we have you over here now! (We've been expecting you for a while now, I just knew this was your month). I know about the awesome boobs. Mine are twice as big now, and I'm loving it. Of course, that just means I'm in a full B cup now .

I hope you don't get really bad nausea/vomiting this time around. I never had it bad until this pregnancy. This better be the best damned baby, ever!!!!! The ladies in the HG, N/V thread are pretty supportive, in case that does happen. I'm finally getting a little bit of relief (and a lot of sleep) from taking phenegren, now. I hope you are spared that particular misery. Now I know exactly what I would wish upon my worst enemy--extreme nausea, day in and day out.

Well Brin- I'm a full B now so maybe my 'double bubble' will earn me some new bras in C cup! Woo hoo!! :

I'm sorry you have HG...you just can't imagine how crappy it is until you got it. I loathed even looking at any food...blah! I didn't get any nausea medicine w/ DD, though now I wish I did- I was just way paranoid about the safety then. Anyhoo- hope your baby is sooo perfect and sweet you'll forget all about your horrible sickness and say it was worth it (like me w/ DD)!! :

I was worried about the safety, too. But then I figured, it was probably worse for my baby to have a malnourished mother with atrophied muscles from laying on the couch/in bed for 12-16 hours at a time. Luckily, I haven't had to take the meds all the time, but am glad to have them when it gets really bad. Mostly it just knocks me out, but when I wake up I'm hungry. Kind of a double-edged sword. When did it start and end with your DD? I have no idea how long to expect this.

I totally get your reasoning for taking it and will totally do the same if it gets bad with this little bean (I love saying that!!) I lost 5 or 6 pounds w/ my HG. But I have some to spare so I guess that's why my doc didn't push the meds. You wanna know when it started and ended? Really? <gulp> It started about 5 or 6 wks and didn't let up until I was 24-26 weeks...everytime I would read something that said it usually goes away around 13 wks, it make me want to vomit!!! :

So glad you are joining us! Congratulations!

Nov. 9 was my EDD with my son...he came on the 10th, and now I am always confused about his birthdate.
