Of the boys names you mentioned, Atticus really struck me. Then I remembered for my girl "Harper" appealed to me but not my husband.
It might be a good twin combo since Harper Lee wrote "To Kill a Mockingbird"
I'm not a big Tolkien person, so I'm not sure what middle names might go or not go.

I love your girls' names. My first thought for you was Ruby, but I love the suggestion of Hazel.

Have you come any close to thinking of middle names? Here are my favourites:

Theoden
Samwise
Arwen
Meriadoc
Elladan
Estel
Lorien
Nessa (sounds like Tessa)
Rohan

(sorry if I'm spelling them incorrectly).

Is Abigail too popular for you? I think it would sound good with your girls, and Arwen would be great as a middle name.

How about Sebastian? Sebastian Samwise is so cool!

After looking at this site:

http://www.gaminggeeks.org/Resources...ry/Tolkien.htm

Can I add these ones to the list? So cool.

Aradan
Turin
Serinde
Elendil
Lindorie (reminds me of Lindor chocolate ... but that's not a bad thing )
Strider
Perian
Rowlie
Thorin
Primula (Polly Primula or Poppy Primula would be so cute)
Huan

My son's name is Sebastian, it seems to be growing in popularity, because I thought I was being pretty unique (with out being completely in left field) but people are always telling me they know a Sebastian, and I even heard someone calling out to their child in Target one day.
I still love his name.
You can always check the Social Security website to check it's ranking.

Well, my sister just had a baby this morning and they named her Abigail, so yeah, it's probably too popular for mags

What about Ezikeal for a boy? DD #2 thinks Byrd and Turtle would be great as well.. Oh yes and Owl.. But these don't really fit your style.

I have a Sebastian too.. his name isn't too popular here in UT (not even in the top 100 here).. I've only met one little boy named Sebastian, but he was named after his dad. I've had the name picked out since I was 15, and it was 250th or so back then, so it has grown in popularity a lot since then!

As much as I love the name, I don't think it fits with Mags other kids' names, though

If you like Tessa and it's too common for you, you could call her Tessla--I met a little girl with this name the other day, and had never heard it before then.

I am with you on Hyrum, too...never even heard the name before, so I wouldn't think you were trying to spell it differently or anything.

I like that as a 'matchy' thing (both having the Z) without being too obnoxiously matchy.

I love the name Bronwyn - DH doesn't like 'Br-" names though.

I think Eliza Elanor would be nice - Makes me think of Eliza R Snow.
I also think that Bree would be nice as a name.

I think it's cool that my grandmother's name is Olive and she had a sister named Mable. She had other sisters named Ruth, Helen, Beatrice, Nellie and Mary too, in case any of those interest you.

DH loves the name Edith, we also like the name Eden.

Also, it only recently occured to me that Hyrum would be spelled any other way - but I'm LDS too.

We like names that aren't very common. We were sort of diappointed to find out how popular the name Ella is after naming DD2 that. We named her after relatives so it's meaningful to us but I wish that it wasn't so common right now. (It was only a few weeks before she was born that we added it to our list of potential names so we didn't properly research it. ) DD1's name is Sonora. I LOVE her name. It's definitely not common.

Gillian - Wife to an amazing DH, Mother to 4 wonderful kiddos . . . and now another on the way.
