Is it possible to drink too much coconut water? I added it into my diet about 2 weeks ago when I was feeling dehydrated despite a lot of water and getting a lot of leg cramps. At first I was only having about 8 ounces a day (in addition to at least 50-60 ounces of water) but I've found I really like it (I buy Vita Coco) and it really helps so I'm up to about 16 ounces a day now - I tend to add 2-3 ounces coconut water to about 10-12 ounces water and do that maybe 5-6 times a day. Just want to make sure this seems ok and that there shouldn't be any negative repercussions from it. TIA!

No, I doubt there would be any possibility that coconut water could harm you, except if possibly you were diabetic, then there is a higher sugar content in CW than lets say...Normal water!

Some raw foodists drink coconut water exclusively, I have heard. They cut the coconuts open and drink the water, but what we buy in tetra packs is basically the same, just pasturized and heated.

I've drank coconut water every day of this whole pregnancy, and we are doing fine!
