We have been on such a rollercoaster ride that I don't even know where to start. Here are the abbreviated facts:
LMP: Dec. 5, 2008
Spotting: Jan. 2 and 3, 2009 (when AF would be expected)
Negative HPT and blood test on Jan. 8
Positive HPT on Jan. 23
Ultrasound on Jan. 27 after having extreme pain near left ovary, nothing in uterus, hcg levels 11,312
Jan. 28 - hcg is 13,192
Jan. 30 - hcg is 13,197, another ultrasound, find gestational sac and yolk sac in uterus
Feb. 17 - ultrasound finds heartbeat that averages 113 but dips into 70s and 80s, baby measures around 7 weeks, hcg = 80,000, progesterone = 16
Feb. 23 - hcg = 92,000
I go in Tuesday for another ultrasound. The doctor is giving this pregnancy a 50/50 chance. I look at all the facts, and it is hard for me to even be that optimistic. The pain near my ovary is better, but I've had a lot of lower back pain lately. I've had extreme nausea but no vomiting for about a month. I've had no bleeding aside from the spotting before I even tested positive.
Can anyone share similar experiences, bad or good?
