You know, as clever as everyone seems to be getting, I almost think it's more clever just to say "is pregnant."

I'm not going to Facebook announce for a while, though. Not until everyone knows, at work and all.

I said "...is continuing her plan to overpopulate the world." but I have kind of a odd sense of humor - some people were very excited and got it and some said "huh?"

A friend of mine came up with the perfect one for me, but won't really work for anyone who's not a chiropractor "Sarah needs to learn how to adjust patients with a big pregnant belly!"

I'm planning to use either:
"... is knocked up" or "... has a bun in the oven."

Though I do like "...is gestating" too.

NAK

how about deleting the automatic "is" after your name, and writing, for example:

Anna + Josh = baby #2!

A + J = Miriam (November 2006) and Raymond (June 2010)

Mine said:

"LizzyQ... is officially announcing to all her facebook friends and family that I am PREGNANT, and due the end of June or early July."

Straight to the point

I changed my profile pic to a pic of the positive pregnancy test. I still had to explain it to a few people.

I'm planning to put:

Anelle has a bun in the oven - half way to a baker's dozen....

Since i have 6 kids and I'm half way through my pregnancy, that works for me!

A cousin of mine wrote "K will be growing out of her pants sooner than expected", or something like that. I thought it was really cute.

I didn't facebook announce until 20 weeks, and then I posted my status as-

OMG it's a girl!

I was sure I would be the mom to all boys.

A friend of mine wrote: "Anna...is eating for two." I thought it was really clever.

I'm not sure what I'll end up writing. I won't reveal on Facebook for a long time though. Too many people on my friends list that I'm not really close with unfortunately.

Married to my perfect match since July 2007 and joyfully expecting our first sometime around September 23rd!:

I'm no where near ready to announce on FB, but I was thinking of doing a profile pic - taking a pic of a bun in my home oven, and just posting that. We'll see... another poster on MDC gave that idea to send out an email to friends and family who don't live near, with a pic of a bun in the oven, a pic of you barefoot in the kitchen, etc.... Might be a good brainteaser for some!!
