I have been so insanely tired and sluggish this entire first trimester. I totally expected it since I remember feeling really tired with my DD during this time. But this time I seriously feel like a zombie. Like I am tired all day long. If I didn't have DD running around & a job, I really think I could sleep all day and night. I got to thinking yesterday that maybe it's the Prometrium that is making me even more tired than normal? Has anyone else had the same experience on Prometrium? I'm hoping I'll be able to get off of it within the next 2 - 3 weeks. I am so ready to feel like a normal functioning person again.

Yes.

I took Prometrium once, and I felt like I had been hit by a semi. Very nauseous and lots of headache, too.

I am 8 weeks today & been on Prometrium for 2 weeks. DD is 21 mos & with that pregnancy I was working FT & not taking Prometrium. I feel horrible...sick in the morning, frequent headaches, but worse is the fatigue & just general blahs. If I hadn't have come across this thread, I might have kept thinking it was me or I was depressed or something.

I've taken prometrium several times, and using the term "zombie" is quite accurate. I also found that once I finally weaned off of it, it took me a few weeks longer to move into that energetic second trimester than it did my non-supplementing friends. Hang in there!

I just got off crinone (form of progesterone) two days ago at my 10w mark and already feel a ton better. While on it, I felt I could go back to bed as soon as I woke up and would need to go to bed very early.

It doesnt make me tired or exhausted, but it makes me feel crave for weird food constantly. like gummy bears for breakfast, or eating soup at 2 in the morning.

it also had my breast size going from cup AA to cup C.

Maybe.  I took crinone as a precaution and I felt horrible.  My MS wasn't any worse than normal, but I was exhausted.

Now, it's hard to tell if I would be less or more exhausted without it, because let's face it, being in the first trimester is exhausting regardless.

I have always been optimistic that I would feel better once I stopped progesterone, but during my first pregnancy, I actually experienced an increase in nausea when I stopped progesterone at 11 weeks.
