My first was 2w, 6d early and 7lbs, 7oz. For my side of the family that's a normal size baby, for DH's it's a peanut.

DD was born 4 days early: 4 lbs 9 oz. (ETA: "days" is not a typo. I was charting and absolutely certain of my dates: 39w3d.)

No idea on #2, but I'm hoping for bigger and a couple of days earlier.

DD1: induction for pre-e at 40w LMP; 39w5d by O - 7lb, 13oz
DD2: 41w LMP; 40w3d-ish by O - 9lb, 8oz

I really think my PIH/pre-e impacted DD1's size as I measured 2-4 weeks ahead up until my BP went up, and neither side of the family has small babies: I was 7-12 at 38w, my sister was 9-9, and DH's brothers ranged from 8lbs even to 9lbs, 15oz.

#1 Born on EDD 6/14 oz
#2 38 Wks. 7lbs
#3 39 + 2,though induced 6/15 oz
#4 38 +4 8/9 oz
#5 37 +6 7/9 oz
#6 37 +2 7/8 oz

With my last 2 I wonder how big they would have been if they had gone a few more weeks. I had gestational diabetes my last 2 pregnancies.

I'm expecting #7 to come earlier as well.

dd1: induction due to preeclampsia at 38 weeks: 6lbs, 4oz, undercooked.

dd2: spontaneous at 39w: 8lbs, 14oz, cooked.

ds1: spontaneously premature at 34w: 6lbs, 6oz: big but undercooked: required resus, entubation and IV feeds then ng feeds and intensive care for a week. Big does not equal mature in neonate speak (lots of people assume he was fine because he was big).

DS born 37w0d 6 lb, 6 oz (I had preeclampsia, but he was spontaneous)
DD born 39w0d 6 lb, 8 oz
DD born 39w4d 7 lb, 4 oz

So no "late" babies, although gestation pattern seems to get longer each time!

Only the one so far - will be interesting to see what this one brings!

He was 3 days past his EDD (though personally I think he was 2 days before his EDD...anyroad..) and was 10 and a half pounds!

Having no sugar and lots of low GI stuff this time around - Measuring a week behind with lots of fluid so a much smaller baby so far (in comparison to DS hehe)! lol - Hopefully I just get an average sized baby this time around!...As to when they will be born - no idea yet! hehe I 'feel' they will be about a week 'early'.

Mummy me : > Thats Ann! and my beautiful SONS Duncanand Hamish 19/09/05 & 22/04/10!

#1 - 4days early, 6lbs 4oz

I was induced with prostoglandin gel and had a 21 hour labor. She could have been earlier than my LMP showed, probably only by less than a week though. I'm sure she would have gone past her EDD if given the chance. She was covered in vernix.

#2 - ??? I've had long cycles since DD. This time I'm dating from when I think I O'd. Babe is measuring a week behind, just like DD did throughout the pregnancy. I'm assuming I'll go late. This one also has a different daddy and his family tends to have big big babies. Fingers crossed that my genes take over in that department (which they appear to be so far).

I was induced because of preeclampsia. I'm hoping to experience natural labor with this one.

Neither had any signs of post-dating and both had a gorgeous and healthy placenta! Boy it takes a lot to go that long.

DD: 5 days past (accurate) due date, 8 lb. 1 oz., 21"
This one is due July 6 based on 1st u/s, July 7 based on the 2nd u/s, and June 28 LMP (although I have hormone issues, so O was a bit late, u/s are probably more accurate). MW thinks I'll go a little earlier, but I'm telling myself late so I won't get as impatient. W/ DD ppl thought I was due "any day" at 7mos., so the end seemed long!
