Sounds perfectly fine to me! Of course check with your doctor/midwife before leaving for their travel tips (such as get up to walk around often, drink LOTS of clean water... when traveling most of us forget to drink water and when pregnant it is SO important!)
Otherwise your timing should have you right when you are starting to feel the BEST during the pregnancy! I remember late August with my DS (who was born 2 days after you are due) already feeling light bubble kicks, not yet showing and feeling GREAT apart from some nausea (but I had hypermesis gravidarum, severe morning sickness)... and how crappy I felt on bedrest after the car accident but honestly... stay safe and you have nothing to worry about!
With my first we got married August 30th and honeymooned in Puerto Rico it was GREAT!!! I was like 28weeks I think we had no problems I felt great and the food was amazing. We hiked the rainforest and it was just so much fun.
I'd say as long as you don't have any complications between now and then, you'll be fine. We went to Vieques this year when I was 29 weeks, and we had an amazing time. We swam in the bio bay (although we took a pontoon boat out instead of kayaking in deference to my growing stomach), and it was magical. I was feeling a lot of round ligament pain and general discomfort at that point in my pregnancy and being able to float around in the gentle sea was heaven. Vieques has a lot of dirt roads and pot holes, but my husband drove verrryyy slowly over them and I just hung on tight. I hope you get to go!
We went to Rincon when I was ~5mo. It was a fabulous trip.
Drinking water is not a special issue in Puerto Rico.
