Has anyone found a good prenatal that has no dairy, and no soy? It'd be nice to not spend $2/day or more, but I guess if we have to, we have to!
Might be pregnant again, not sure yet, so I've got to get thinking about prenatals. I've been taking vitamins, but I had to stop taking my prenatals a couple months ago because I found my son is allergic to soy as well as milk (even in small amounts and almost unrecognizable forms).
I can't find a prenatal in the stores that doesn't have some form of soy in it. Also, anything that is even cultured in milk (for example, the probiotics we tried) upsets him quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure Thorne has some--they're inexpensive and free shipping at vitalbee.com...if those don't work for you head over to the allergies forum and ask there!

Kirkman Labs has hypoallergenic, and they are reasonably priced. I took them while nursing DD who was diary/soy/ and egg allergic. She was very sensitive to soy and other legumes.

They are not whole food based, and aren't exactly natural. Kirkman uses a non-food based Vit E. I know most Vit E is made from soy and DD couldnt' tolerate it.

Also I think I read on the bottle that Mega Foods Baby and Me was tested soy and diary free, but those are $40 a bottle. Mega Foods uses bran rice for Vit E. Kirkman are $12 or something, and you take 2 a day. They don't seem to cause stomach upset either. Mega Foods is 4 pills a day.

I've taken Mega Foods Baby and Me and Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal. I like the Vitamin Code ones better because it's 3 caps vs 4 a day and they run about $27.

I got Rainbow Light brand yesterday at Target. They were on sale for 7.50, regular price 10.50 for 50 days. Much better than last time, I was getting ones in the mail and paying shipping and all.

I really like Thorne products, their vits have real folate instead of folic acid, that's important for some people, and overall the forms they use for vitamins and minerals are well-absorbed. They are sold lots of places online and seem to go on-sale regularly.
