sorry you're not getting any responses - i don't have choleostasis but i definitely spent some time being SUPER itchy during this pregnancy. mostly during weeks 30-36 or so i think. if you do a search in the forums you'll find a bunch of older threads on it...not so helpful for finding buddies now but might lead to something.

good luck!

I was never diagnosed with anything, but I spent the first half of my pregnancy itching like CRAZY. It was so bad and so constant that I actually stopped noticing it consciously. The only thing that really helped was if I had DH put moisturizer cream all over my skin - so I assume it was just a combination problem between the cold dry winter weather and hormones making my skin dry. DH would know it was time for more moisturizer when he would notice that I'd scratched my arms or legs raw in my sleep greensad.gif

It did subside somewhere in the 5th month I believe.

I've had two friends diagnosed with cholestasis- you have my sympathies!!  Have you checked out the Itchymoms site?  They have a whole support group, birth stories, etc.  I hear ice packs can help.  What is your care provider's plan for testing, inducing, etc.?  Good luck!
