So, having 2 girls named Rainey and Breeze- my friend suggested I work with the "4 earth elements" in naming the next round of babies!

So, Blaze and Ember come to mind- although I have heard Blaze a few times and I do not like Ember.

Looking for Fire and Earth element names... As I got Air and Water.

Any ideas people?

Fire:

kindle (but of course there's the nifty gadget from amazon with the same name)

pyre (reminds me of pyro, but could be cute)

cakdera (a crater formed by volcanic erruption)

vulcan (a little star trekky)

Earth:

terra

willow

Or, maybe you could pick names that simply mean those words in other languages.

Earth:

Erde (german)

Bhumi (sanskrit)

Jahun (persian)

Fire:

Spanish - Fuego

Italian - Fuoco

French - Feu

Portuguese- Fogo

German - Feuer

Finnish-Tuli

Irish-Tine

There are tons of Earth names to work with.  Any plants, trees, flowers, animals, etc.  This should take you to a list of Earthy names: http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/search.php?p=asearch&s_gender2=1&s_copt2=2&i_search2=&s_filter1=1&s_syllables=0&s_filter2=1&s_chars=0&s_top_country=1&s_top_nr=0&s_top_pyears=0&s_filter_=0&s_origins=&s_categories=355x&s_mfilter2=1&i_meaning=&s_lastname=0&i_letter=&s_filter_rating=1

Fire names are a little trickier.  I can't think of any that haven't already been suggested.
