Welcome to the WINTER 2011/2012 Thread!!
Looking forward to adding some of our BSLs to the list over here,
we need some new babies!

This is a spinoff of the Bitter Sushi Ladies Thread over on the TTC board. Some of us have very happily made it to the "other side" and we want to be able to keep track of each other.

Our fellow BSLs that are still on their TTC journey like to check up on us from time to time too - which we really appreciate - since they continue to be in the midst of a sometimes brutal and just "NOT FAIR" TTC journey...

Subbing... Only a couple more days until foster baby moves on. I think we all feel sad and relieved at the same time. My MS is very strange this time: I can have a day with no throwing up, and then keep almost nothing in the following day. I will be 10 weeks in a couple of days. Hoping for home relief in the 2nd trimester, but not really getting my hopes up, as I was sick until 16 weeks or something with dd.

It is so nice to see all the positive things here...

Jane, so glad you have your baby finally.

Kyamo, glucose test went well, I hope!

And LTB and I both finally made it over here.  love.gif

Wow, wow, I haven't been here for so long, and now I pop in and so much has changed! LTB - you are pregnant! OMG. Kinza too!  Congrats. And Jane, you had the baby! Wow, how time flies. Congrats. And there are even new people who I didn't know on the BSL list and who are now pregnant! Wow, looks like I have missed a lot.

I am still hanging out on the IVF thread. Doing another IVF cycle now (currenty on supression)

Kyamo, thanks for taking over the thread! When will you find out the results of your test?

Love to everyone else. Hey, lavatea, are you feeling ready for baby yet?

OH, yes! There are still little things that I *should* do to get prepared (go through baby clothes, pack, etc), but for the most part I am so ready. I have everything on hand that I need, I think. It's just a matter of corraling it all into one spot, but honestly that could be done with mr.baby wrapped up in a moby just as well as stuck in my tummy. I am also very ready for a break from work. It's getting harder and harder to waddle down the halls, stay awake all night, etc. I'm 37.2 (almost 37.3)...he's welcome to come at any time.

I have a midwife appointment this afternoon, so maybe then. But the lab said 3 business days for them to send the midwife my results, that was Saturday and today is Tues, so its very possible they won't have anything yet. In that case I imagine I'll get a phone call if I fail.

I'm back from my appointment now. Glucose results were in, and I passed despite the PCOS. YAY!

Everything else looks good too. He's big enough now that my midwife could tell his position from feeling my belly. He has his feet up at the top today. love.gif

Mine does, too. It's so weird.

Midwife griped at me today. greensad.gif It's my fault b/c I'm a bad patient, but she expects me to take one hemaplex pill, 1000 mg magnesium, 2000 mg calcium, and drink 64 oz of water daily from here on out in order to have her attend my birth. I'm really bad at pills...and drinking. Her apprentice was very worried b/c my ketones were so high in my urine today. I haven't had a ton of water yet, but I did have a glass this morning. And I've eaten. IDK. My urine always seems to be pretty concentrated.

Anyhow, I'm going to try to do better. I really don't want her to drop me as a patient. I <3 her a lot and feel very blessed to have found her to be my midwife.

lavatea, wow, that's a lot she wants you to do! I try to stay hydrated by drinking a shake each day. Not a shake with ice cream because I'm gaining so much weight already. It's just crushed ice, milk, and some chocolate powder. Of course, it feels like I pee it all out immediately. winky.gif

Just a few days left until your baby's due date! Or maybe you've had him already?

I'm doing all right at 34 weeks. My husband is away on business again. This should be the last time, though last time was supposed to be the last time. Ha! I'm telling baby that she needs to stay inside until daddy gets back (Saturday).

Kyamo:  Yay for passing the glucose tolerance test!

Sweet.Bee:  Hiccups!  So awesome!  But I would guess it gets annoying?  Still, so neat.love.gif

And I can't believe lava is due in two weeks--it seems like you just got your BFP.

I think I'm ready to be added to the roster.  I had my first ultrasound today at 6 weeks and found two tiny little blobs with two tiny little heartbeats.  So I guess my blurb could say something like "Kinza, TTC #1 for 3 years.  Due 7/27/12."

TWINS??!!!! Wow, congrats! I added you to the roster.
I hope you feel a little less scared after seeing the heartbeats, although I know for me that only helped very temporarily. It wasn't until I was feeling regular movements that I really felt reassured.

monkey! (!!!!!!)  That's all I'll say 'til you're more comfy with the idea.

Thanks, everyone, and Kyamo, the ultrasound helped yesterday with my fears, but today I'm back to being scared.  I am scheduled for another ultrasound 12/19--I guess I can look forward to that (you know, in a nail-biting, vomiting sort of way).

MONKEY!!!!!!!! I am so glad you are joining us. joy.gif

fingersx.gif for sticky, and let me know when you are feeling confident enough for me to add you to the list.

ETA after post-stalking. The cramps are normal. Menstrual-like cramps were my first pregnancy symptom. For a normal period, I don't start cramping until after I'm already bleeding. But when I got pregnant, I got cramps starting 2 days before AF was due and never bled at all.

rcr - Sorry for the confusion! Yes, I am for-real pregnant. BFP on Saturday morning. Still feels very surreal. Talking about "my baby" or "my pregnancy" sounds about as weird as "my husband" did for the first 6 months of marriage! I hope you join the IVF twins club, too!

Kyamo - So here I am, in your footsteps, again. The end of November marked 18 months of TTC for us. Thank you for the OPKs! I used them all up before I actually O'd, but they inspired me to order more of the same kind. Now I have about 40 leftover OPKs! I also started cramping a few days before AF was due, which is a big reason I thought this cycle was a no-go. It's been very calming to have a lot of people say it's normal!

Everyone else - hi! It's still so weird to be here as more than a stalker. Although I'm definitely still stalking... lavatea, where are you?? I hope to stick around for quite awhile!

It's so weird to have all of you over here just as I'm about ready to be done. It's so exciting, though! joy.gif

I would like to do personals, but I just don't have the energy. But I am so, so happy to "see" you all.

AFM - I don't have much energy to post about me, either. I'm hurting quite a bit. Back's hurting, pelvis is hurting, all over is hurting. I called in to work last night, and I'm not sure I'll be going back this weekend for my last 3 scheduled shifts. I worked Sunday night and it was just so hard. I'm actually contracting quite a bit today so maybe I'll have this baby in the next few days and it won't even be an issue.

Thinking of you guys. Glad to read your updates. smile.gif
