What an emotional neanderthal.
Of course, I could exaplain why it was important to me that he watch it with me, but after all that, it just wouldn't be the same, and it could mean that he'd sit through it deadpan, which would be painful.
I guess this just goes along with not ever wanting to watch the wedding video, being uninsprired by family photos, laughing through sappy movies. . .
Urgh. . .just venting.
But I'm pretty sure that even a man who doesn't get emotional over the life events of other people will be surprised at his feelings when it's his own wife and child.

Then again I didn't send it to him at work. People are in a different headspace at work than at home.

Anyone know who sings the song at the end? I really want it and have charged dh with finding it for me, but I guess I'm going to have to do my own legwork on this one.
Ya'd think he'd get it after being present and loving and excited at the birth of our ds, but he's just determined to hide any sentimentality he's got. Poor fool. . .
Here's the link:
I'm not sure my dh would have hte same reaction that I did though. He already thinks I'm a little nuts when it comes to the whole bith thing!:
"oh man! those kids are gonna be traumatized!" :

The dad owns the advertising/marketing website/company that the "ecard" is on. If any of us needed that kind of service, who do you think we'd hire?
So I think the dad is making some money off of it, or at least LOADS of free advertising for his own company.
