I'm 29 wks with my 3rd child, I want to order some tea from compleat mother as I've read several people who love it. But it says a winters supply? I've no idea how much that is, how long will it last, lol . Really a whole winter? Anyone order it before? thanks in advance
Well, I haven't ordered it from Compleat Mother before, but I was planning on it. I usually buy it from the nearby HFS, but I am sure it is probably more expensive that way. I love it so much, I know I would drink more if I had more on hand.
Okay, so this was no help at all. :LOL I guess it really depends on how much you drink, and if anyone else in your house will be drinking it too.
Sorry to ask a dumb question, but can anyone tell me why pregnant women shoudl drink red raspberry leaf tea? What does it do? When should you start drinking it?
It is just a nice pregnancy compatible herb tea. Red raspberry leaves have a tonic effect on the uterus and many feel that it helps the uterus to be strengthened for labor. Maybe, maybe not. I have been in Midwifery for almost 8 years and see absolutely no consistant value of drinking herbals for labor prep- but it is also rich in vitamins and tea is a very soothing drink, especially warm, for the irritable GI track of the last trimester
The ideal beverage for reproductive women, the elderly, anyone in recovery, teenagers and children, our tea is abundant in Potsssium (441 ppm.), Calcium (121 ppm) and Magnesium (93 ppm). It is also rich in all important trace minerals such as Manganese (.52 pm), Zinc (.35 ppm) Iron (.04 ppm) and Chromium (.02 ppm). The Mother Tea is a gentle, soothing, nourishing drink morning, noon and night.
