When I learned that the birthing suite where I will give birth had an MP3 dock, I started thinking about an hours-long playlist of my favorite music. Though I like music from several genres, the bulk of this is punk and New Wave. Some of it would not be considered relaxing at all. When I am in the moment, do you think I will enjoy this painstakingly-constructed playlist, or do you think I will prefer something soft such as what is played in yoga classes - e.g., New Age instead of New Wave? I have not put much work into the playlist yet, so there is still time to change.
