Hi all! I am 26 weeks pregnant with my 1st baby and after 3 miscarriages am VERY excited. I started feeling movement in week 22 and after a few weeks noticed a bit of a sleep/ wake pattern emerging. After researching online I found alot of people believe the pattern formed now will be the same at birth so I started writing it down.  I got my husband involved who is an iphone app developer and he wrote me an app!  Its pretty cool and alot of fun so I wanted to share it.  The pattern in the screen shots is a week of recording for my baby! Heres the url:  http://www.infinitetouch.ie/app.php?name=fetalsleeptracker

They may not keep you awake at night ever.  I'm 31 weeks and most of what I feel are rolls.  No kicks or punches.  It certainly doesn't keep me awake, but everyone is different.

Beautiful baby girl born 8/13/2012. Little star baby lost at 10 weeks pregnant, 12/18/2013. Currently due 12/13/2014 with a rainbow.

I'm 38 weeks now and the baby's movements have never kept me awake at night, thank goodness!

I'll be interested to hear whether or not the pattern thing is accurate for you.

I've had five babies, and other than their super active time being relatively consistent, nothing has carried over.  I think because before they are born they do their own thing, but afterwards we change their environment.  Like today, baby dd would have slept this morning, but we were running errands and had her in and out of the car.  So, this afternoon she was cranky from being over tired.  Now she is sleeping hard, but that will probably mean she'll be messed up tonight.  A few days of that, then whatever they did before they were born is moot.
