My 10 year class reunion is three weeks before my due date. It's 30-45 minutes away, and I have family in town that could probably babysit. I do want to see friends, and I've never gone into labor that early, but it also seems like it would be a shame to sink $100 on tickets and not be able to go in case I have the baby early, or even just go on bedrest. Also I have difficult pregnancies and I'm just not sure if I'm going to be able to be on my feet all night mingling that close to my due date.
Also, DH's 10 year reunion was kind of geared towards single or young married alumni... dancing, drinking, etc. I have couple of friends I expect to see there, but if the atmosphere is club-like I'm not sure it'll be worth it for me.
Should I plan to go? Buy tickets at the last possible minute? Ask if I can get a refund if I have pregnancy complications or early delivery?
ETA: Reunion location is on the way to my backup hospital, so I wouldn't be super far away if I happened to go into labor that night.

I think I would contact the organizer and tell them the situation and see if they can give you a refund if you can't make it. Then you can also check to see what kind of atmosphere it will be. There should be plenty of places to sit down, so you could hold court and park it at a table. :)
I think I would try and go if I could. I am in a similar boat - my 20 year reunion is happening 5 days after my due date...so, I will be missing it entirely.
