I suspected that I was pregnant for a while, no sickness at all (just severe fatigue and tender breast.) I got confirmed the 16th by a nurse that I was pregnant and the 17th started the morning sickness. Now I can't stand the smell of breakfast foods or a lot of fried foods. Why is it that nothing happens until it got confirmed? This happened ith my last one too. Just wondered if that happened to anybody else???

I think because pregnancy is typically confirmed around the time that the embryo is developing in earnest and starting to form organs, which is about a week after a missed period (and 5 weeks into pregnancy). Other than mild cramping, breast tenderness and fatigue, I was also fine until I was late enough to poas. I got the bfp and started feeling MS several days later.
