With my 2 full term pregnancies, that were both girls, I had awful m/s. I had Hyperemesis Gravi-whatever with the first where I had to IV fluids and with DD#2 I just had regular awful all day sickness with heartburn. I had an early m/c at 6 weeks where I had no symptoms and now I am 5 weeks pregnant again. I have been having my hcg monitored and am on progesterone suppositories and am fairly certain everything is going well. Anyway, my question is for ladies who have not had m/s or much m/s in their pregnancies before.

I seem to only get nauseous when I over eat or eat really heavy, greasy foods, ie: bacon cheeseburger with cheese curds hide.gif or when I try to push myself to eat too much for breakfast. Does this sound right? I seem to not need to eat as much at any one time but do well just kinda grazing all day. With my 2 girls I needed to constantly eat to keep the heartburn at bay but then would throw up from eating too much and it was a constant, vicious circle. Is this what a non-m/s early pregnancy is like?

hi. I also suffer from extreme nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. I would HIGHLY recommend not eating bacon cheese burgers or heavily greasy foods as those can cause lots of yucky things to happen to anyones digestive system. Sticking to healthy fats like avocado and nuts and seeds is good, lots of small meals throughout the day is good. Try fruit and vegetables, cheese and crackers, wraps, grilled chicken, smoothies. Those are all healthy choices that can be easier to digest. Those are the foods that work for me and are much easier on the way back up than greasy foods :)

good luck!!
