I am 18 weeks along and have been experiencing severe upper right quadrant pain radiating to my back.  The pain is fairly constant with only a day or two in the last month where i did not experience it.  The only relief i get is when i lay down flat on my back.  It is making working very hard and i have been brought to tears the pain is so intense.  I have seen the doctor, thinking it may be gallstones but the ultra sound came back negative.  Can anyone offer any advice?

Welcome to MDC! It sounds like you are in a lot of pain. Did your doctor have any suggestions? If the pain is continuing a second opinion from another doctor or midwife might be very helpful. I hope you feel better soon!

Could it be from baby?  I've had some really nasty upper right quadrant pain from baby's bum pushing up under my ribs.  It can be excruciating and the area feels bruised and almost numb.  I am very short waisted and have big babies so it just plain hurts!  I hope it is something simple mama.
