We spend a lot of time talking about what ails us during pregnancy, but what are some of the perks of being pregnant?  What are the fun things we get to do that we didn't before?

1.  I love not having a period for the first time in my life after 26 years of monthly AF.

2.  I also enjoy not cleaning out the litter box.

Ditto to both of those! although it took me about a month after the BFP to not be constantly checking for spotting every time I peed ... which was a lot.

also...

- Constantly nibbling at healthy snacks like dried fruit

- in my case, finally having more pants that fit, at least for a few weeks! Clothing companies don't seem to cater to my waist-hip ratio, so it's a different experience to not have several pairs of pants falling down. I hope they will fit me until Christmas.

- Sharing the good news with friends and family

decide to nap or go to be at 8:30 pm, with dishes undone, not one iota of guilt when I am pregnant.

All of these.

Also...boobs!  I am usually small so I have to say I quite enjoy going up a cup size or more!!  Not just that, but feeling very, very, earth-mother womanly.  I loved that.

Having DH sweetly offer to go get me things I'm craving when we're out...I have never let him but it's sure sweet that he's willing to go.

Eating when I'm hungry without worrying what my caloric intake has been for the day

Wearing comfy, stretchy clothes

Feeling the pregnancy glow

Feeling baby move love.gif

Ya, I actually really like being pregnant for the most part.

Oh just you wait..... Sure its fun to wash them now, but just wait till they're poopy....

I don't usually usually mind diaper laundry. But now with my super-sensitive-pregnancy sense of smell it is my most hated chore in the world.... cute or not horrors.gif

I second the no period thing. Also, eating. By the time my MS will be completely gone it will be thanksgiving and then the rest of the eating holidays!

Having much less hair fall out in the shower is also a perk! I have pretty sparse cover to begin with.

I absolutely love the shape of my body when pregnant.  Definitely a perk as someone who has struggled with body image as long as I can remember.

I love goving birth too. If pregnancy was only 3 months long and there was no MS I would probably have 25 children by now!

I think it was more like a really hard work-out for me.  It was hard while I was doing it, but felt amazing afterwards!

Ugh, I'm currently suffering from the dreaded pregnancy acne, so I have no idea what you're talking about! :P

I love this too, except that I feel like the first trimester is the time when I really NEED the special treatment and understanding of others, and it's not fair that no one has any idea why I'm moody as all get out and keep trying to sneak off for a nap.

Having a nice full rack was one of my favorite things about last pregnancy, but now I'm still nursing DD and though my boobs are sore and feel a bit heavier, they're still sad and tiny :(

This, without a doubt, is my favorite part. I can't wait. I swear I first felt DD at 13 weeks, I hope it happens early again this time.

Halloween costumes are really easy.  Pull on an orange sweater, slap some yellow felt triangles on it, and hey! instant pumpkin.
