Any tips for helping my scar to stretch, other than gently massaging with cocoa butter/coconut oil/etc as I grow?

I have a full 5" abdominal scar from my ectopic surgery about 9 months ago (was a large mass, bad rupture with a lot of internal bleeding, couldn't do it laparoscopically).  It is slightly above my bikini line.  It will be different than a c/s scar considering my skin wasn't fully stretch at the time I was cut.  It's already slightly tender around it and I've had some times where it's itchier than others, though I've been doing my best to care for it as I go.  But any tips from those who've BTDT?

Try a product called Kelocote!  It is a scar management treatment that comes in either a spray (which might be the best option if your scar is more tender) or a gel.  You can get it at any Ulta, Duane Reade stores, just depends where you live.  You can definitely get it on their website, www.kelocote.com.  Give it a try, let me know what you think?
