CDsMom1031- Yay! Glad to see you here too. My EDD is currently September 2 so it will be interesting to see if we go around the same time.

Are you having a singleton or twins? My calculations say I'm also due the 2nd. We'll see what the doctor says. smile.gif

It occurred to me that we all have the early September due dates because the people in mid and late september probably don't know they are pregnant yet. How exciting!

I had my second beta today. I can't wait for the results.

That's true, so we might end up with loads of members! My partner's theory on September babies is that everyone was making the most of their time before the end of the world :P

LOL, nettlesoup, that's entirely possible!

We are going to the mountains for a few days, so I won't be around until the 1st or 2nd. I hope you all have a happy new year! Until 2013!

I'm pretty sure it's a singleton, but we won't know for sure until the 10th. We hope for just one. We only transferred one embie. It doesn't prevent identical twinning, but it reduces our chances of twinning 30-40%.

My EDD is around September 6th. I got my BFP on Christmas, which was exciting since my husband returned from a deployment this summer and we had been trying since he got home. smile.gif. This will be our third and last, and we will have a big move from Germany to Augusta, GA this summer.

I am so frustrated. The clinic on post here doesn't do blood work to confirm pregnancies and won't refer me to see a doc until I am 10-12 weeks pregnant.

Anyway, I wanted to reply to you because I saw you have a Halloween baby. Both of my kiddos were born on Halloween...ten years apart. My daughter is 13 and was born in 1999 and my son was born in 2009. I

Pickle9909- Are there any free or low-cost clinics around you? You can ask for a blood test there.

I am in Germany....so I could probably go to the ER. Germans tend to use the ER differently than in the states soi wouldn't t be abusing the system or anything. Otherwise I think I would have to go to a regular doc and I am sure they would want lots of follow ups and ultra sounds (they do ultra sounds at every appointment here) I guess the blood work isn't sper important, but for peace of mind it would be nice.

I am so tired! I have been tired with previous pregnancies, but this one may take the cake. I am exhausted. Maybe due to having a nursing toddler who has been sick and isn't he best sleeper and just returning from vacation AND the holiday? I just want to sleep all day.

I'm starting to feel a wee bit tired as well, but other than that it's just mild nausea when I'm hungry. Does anyone else notice that young children seem to sense the pregnancy? This time and in February my daughter started acting up when I first got pregnant. Daddy is very much the favourite right now.

I'm tired, have a horrible headache and a short temper. I feel like I get no sleep because DH works 12 hour shifts... Sometimes at night and sometimes day shift. We have an 8 month old who still doesn't sleep through the night, at least I am already used to getting up all night lol.

I'm right there with you guys :/  My toddler is still nursing a few times a night and I am just so exhausted.  This is one of the stages I detest with pregnancy.  I love pregnancy but the first trimester I feel like I am living in a cloud and then the end of the pregnancy I am so uncomfortable I can't wait for the baby to get here.  The rest is usually a piece of cake.  I don't want to complain too much as I am just happy to be pregnant again :)  So blessed to be having our fourth and probably final baby :)

Jen&james- I see your youngest daughter is named Rowan? That's what we plan on naming our baby if it's a girl, however that could change. We had it picked out as a girl name before we knew the sex of our last.

CDsmom- your son needs to teach my DS how to sleep lol. He wakes about 5 times a night.

Anyone scared to death of what's to come? I guess because it's fresh in my mind, but I suffer from hyperemesis and it typically starts about 7 weeks for me. With both my sons I was on IV's and taken out of work. I know every pregnancy is different, but this is my 5th (2 miscarriages) and I had morning sickness with them all. So since I found out I have managed to track down all my favorite foods before I can no longer eat (enjoy) them. I would love love love it if this evil side effect of such a wonderful blessing passes me by this time as this will be my last baby. I'm like 4w and 6d. For some reason I've already been feeling a bit queasy and my beta numbers are doubling every 23 hours which is pretty fast so that may be the reason. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else out there is a bit anxious. Please don't get me wrong, this baby was planned and I am beyond excited to meet him or her, just not too excited about throwing up everyday.

As far as symptoms go, all I'm afraid of is getting carpel tunnel again. I had it from 24w to delivery and it was absolutely miserable. Other than that, my pregnancy is boring.

What I'm freaking out about is having two kids under 2...

I'm a bit worried about morning sickness too. If it's like last time, my partner will have to take a week or two off work and his Mum will figure out why. I'd rather no one knew until about 12 weeks, but she's very good at noticing! I'm already feeling mild nausea every day and am wondering when it'll turn into full blown morning sickness.

Countrybound; I hope you don't have such bad morning sickness this time, that sounds awful! Although mine was unpleasant, I was only ever sick once last time.

Being sick is the worst. I really hope I am in the clear this time...so far so good, but I am pretty sure my 3yo will find lots of trouble and messes if I am too sick. He is in Kindergarten in the mornings, so that should help.

I just found out yesterday morning that I'm pregnant!!! I'm due Sept 6th. We are so excited. Praying for a healthy pregnancy and homebirth. My last pregnancy was over 4 years ago so it's all new to me again!

Hello!  As far as I can tell, I am due Sept. 4th.  I found out last Saturday, the 22nd.  This is my first pregnancy, after 9 months of TTC.  I am SO excited, and very nervous too.

congrats swissmiss and nenya Welcome.gif

CDsMom- good job on giving them up ( I will most likely not give up my one cup of coffee a day, just like I didn't with my DS). But yeah... smoking has got to go. They symptoms will pass soon for you hopefully. Maybe after this baby's birth you won't pick up the habit again =). (I know that's easier said than done).
